Preserving genetics without a Male

So I'm growing out some blissful wizard IBL and have found 2 really nice females. I'm going to use them in future breeding projects but I'm pretty bummed I didn't happen to get a Male in the pack to make some f1's of the strain. My question is, from your own experience, how much diversity should I expect if I just self each female. I use the colloidal silver method. Im not the biggest fan of feminized seeds only because I think it has a tendency to muddy up the gene pool pretty quickly at a certain point. Now i have yet to have a bad experience with feminized seeds, I think im probably just a wannabe purist ?. Thanks for your help folks!

Just an idea..you can cross it to something similar......then hunt those resulting seeds for a mom leaner male. Then use that male on the original mom and again hunt for what you seek.

Yeah I was considering buying another pack but my current seed hoard is out of control lol. Im trying to take a break from buying more seeds if I can

I've grown s1s and there was a bit of variation but obvious similarities too. Still different enough to feel like I didn't just grow a bunch of the same plant.

Self will be that pheno you see. So if you take a cut and self that you'll have 1x self pheno and then the same for the other. You can hold onto them until you get another pack and get a male. Or you could keep mums going clone and breed with another male and offspring back across the clone. I think that's what I read as a back cross. I'd self them so you retain the genetics and phenos you like.

Reverse one of the females you have then take that pollen and hit the other female. That will make a feminized F2 generation. You'll get a larger gene pool that way.

When you "self" a female, you are literally making a copy of itself. There will be some minor variation but comparatively very little because the mom plays the roll of both parents, ie both parents are exactly the same.
