So I noticed some drama upon my return from vacation and was surprised at the way some members have reacted, so I thought it might be a good time to remind everyone that we have some really amazing mods on this forum, best on the internet imo, and you can always message them if you have an issue. And messaging the mods BEFORE reacting in a public space is a great way to ensure that A) your actually correct in your assumptions and B) you find a resolution without causing a bunch of unneeded drama.
I get that no one wants to be a teachers pet but this is essentially the entire reason to have mods.
Think someone is a sock? Ask @Deebs to do an IP check. It works, just ask Little Dabbie (on Instagram since obviously, he's not here anymore. Cause to reiterate, it works). Or that other dude who thought he could come back and post all pictures of the exact same plants as his banned previous account and no one would notice.
People breaking forum rules? Let @HydroRed or @spyralout drop the hammer. They are always happy to help. It avoids drama, and it avoids the highly contagious foot in mouth disease that plagues forums across the interwebs (I've caught cases a few times myself, so no judgement!)
Just my two cents, feel free to tell me to pound sand if you disagree.
