My wife only smokes dispo weed. I have grown multiple pounds yearly and she won`t smoke it, nuts. It`s not that my weed isn`t good, my friends love it.

How is that weird? Whole economy and retail is based on human stupidity .Look how some people are scared and won’t/refuse to eat real food or a veggie or plain water but want boozand junk food and proceeded poison and pride themselves on over priced food/drinks ( yeah so cool for a small plate of food for 100+ bucks snd 20+ bucks for a cup of beer) .
you can’t fix stupid and that’s the answer and it def shows people like the “store” and fancy label and box and even cost. U could offer someone same thing of cannabis but if it’s free or in a plain ziplock (must suck right?) vs same plant in a boxed/fancy jar and costly they woild openly want it and pay for it and also keep the fancy jar/bag as a Pokémon card. I know a few buddies and even growers who keep their jars/baggies from stores and def seem like their experience was only based on how much they paid and bag/jar fancy ratings. Yeah that weed was soo good at 65-80 a 1/8th lol , fuck I don’t care if that weed got me buzzed for days but my habit woild be gone if I paid 65 per 1/8th
this is not just for cannabis in anyway , go to any store and many of time the most costly isn’t the best and people are stupid enough to buy only based on fancy packaging or branding and price alone

The only "real" food in a grocery store is on the outside walls. Meat, eggs and vegetables. The entire middle of the store could disappear and peoples health problems would disappear with it. The entire healthcare industry would collapse because people wouldn't need doctors for all their food induced health problems...How is that weird? Extremely Loud plants are becoming my reason for hunting..Altho not much success in the terps department the plants are outstanding..I have a one plant in ReVeg that's fitting the bill.. Absolutely rank. (FAB MC @pwnytailjoe ). Ide love to try out your pinesoul cross and that damn Chem D still eludes me..Like I'm not supposed to grow the real cut or something..Grown it many times from seed and always misses the mark..The one I was running from Jaws was potent as hell and the parents loved it..Smelled like sour apples tho..

I have some smileyface which is chem 91 skva x goji og. Mine came out with some pinsol cleaner terps.
I am also trying some backyard boogie gear. Between his extensive chemwork and lavendar work that might be some gear to check out. The lavander for loud terps and his chem stuff is very worked. Boogie is very outspoken about the chems.

One of the major reasons I'm learning to grow. I'm not paying crazy ass illinois prices and the insane tax rates for some dry ass herb in a fancy package that still isn't as good as what I'm doing at home and that's with making mistakes and not having an 'optimal' setup. Just as when I had enough area for a vegetable garden. I know whats going in the plants and they always taste better than anything I've got in the store.
I usually roll my eyes at anything with a “celebrity” promoting their own weed strain. But about a week ago, I was watching some videos on curing and came across an interview with Jim Belushi.
He was talking about how he couldn’t sell his weed to dispensaries because they only cared about THC percentage. His argument was that, sure, his strains might test lower for THC — but they have around 4% myrcene. The current market doesn't care about terps it's all about that THC % on the label.
According to him, anyone growing for Belushi Farms has to follow strict standards for temperature, humidity, and curing practices. Listening to him talk, I’d honestly be more inclined to try his product than some random “30% THC” strain.
If everything he said is true, though, I’m guessing his eighths are probably sitting in that $65 range, haha.

After watching his TV show about his grows, he (Belushi) only knows what he's been told. His "hands-on", (imo), isn't much. His wooks do most of the garden work.

speaking of the devil......med dispo running a 30% off deal and I get 2 Rythm Animal Face and 3 Blue Zashimi for $160 out the door. When I get there the tender tells me I got a $15 credit in my account and I end up paying 145 for 5 1/2g live resin carts. At the rec dispo, those same carts are ~ $290 out the door. Big price difference for the same thing.

I tried popping some and didn't get much success. Have two plants from the old beans and two others that are crosses from the old beans. Two of the four were part of the first batch I popped that unfortunately got a little screwed up, 7 plants in all. Timer was messed up, and the light was coming on and off a couple times over the dark period. Didn't catch it until the plants started acting weird, got all stretchy and weird looking. They're starting to come around finally maybe I'll be able to take some cuts and start over with those 7.
Then next couple rounds of seeds did better. Got a Toledo Strip seedling that's going to start kicking into veg real soon.
There's a bunch of different stuff going, mostly older beans from when I was still guerilla growing in the wild. They're getting old and need to be grown, they start giving me trouble after around 5 years. Quite a few I don't know the genetics on. No idea what I'm going to find, maybe nothing, never find out if I don't give them a shot.
I remember we had a big sativa leaning pheno that was sticky and piney that I really liked. It always finished pretty well too surprisingly; I'd like to find that plant again. Another was a really hashy smelling plant it was always smaller with rock hard buds but man it was amazing old school smoke. Miss those two. For all the different strains I've grown over the last few years haven't found anything similar to those two plants from my past.

Man I hope you find what you are looking for..I really miss some of the old school stuff..In fact last night I was looking at some of the seeds I made a WAY long time ago 2008 ish mandala 8 miles high went for a swim last night..I have so many I WANT to get to but should really do seed increase on my old school killers...Good luck buddy

I know that feeling of having so much you want to run. I have a ton of stuff from Frim and Jaws that has to be run. I grew one of the BBKB last winter and it was probably the best smoke I grew in 25, in the top 3 for sure.
I'm not going to hold my breath looking for anything, harder I look for something the more elusive it is, doesn't seem to matter what it is. I'll just take what comes in stride like always. Hard for me to be mad when I can grow one of the most beautiful plants all year round with relativity no worries. In my book it doesn't get much better than that. On top of that there's all these great people we can trade seeds and knowledge with all just a few mouse clicks away. Dude, like a kid in a candy shop. Life aint perfect but I sure have a lot to be thankful for.
