I’ve been meaning to stop by here and ask... Are you an actual octopus... or just a fan of them?

my name is Jag and I’m an octopus addict

just a fan. i do have a small aquarium in my place but all it has in it atm are some snails and a bristlenose pleco fish. the fishkeeping is my gf's hobby. my pulpo name actually comes from online gaming. i used it as a gamer tag originally in world of warcraft (yes i'm a nerd) and then on playstation network and other places haha.

your octopus looks like a nice lil feller tho. good to meet ya jag!

Day 8 or thereabouts.. feel like the girls are just on edge of being underfed but doing better now. Wad going 1600 ec, before, then started at 1200ec, and it was too . broght it back up with some heavy doses but next run i plan to just do 1400ec the whole time.

Day 15ish. Looks like i let pH stay a little bit too low. Seeing early signs of a calcium/magnesium lockout or something. interveinal chlorosis on upper leaves. red petioles. but i should have it corrected. what happened is I think my tap water had started coming out a bit lower than it used to, and i hadn't bothered to check with the bluelab pen in what feels like a year. Mixed the nutrients like usual and checked it and it came out 6.0 when it used to be 6.5. fed at 1.7ec 6.5pH today. Also i got the next gen rooted and in 1 gallons i'll throw a picture of that below.

@jaguarlax @Keif Lint thank you guys for the kind words! @Fr3nzy was meaning to reply to your post long ago but i forgot! no one really quits WoW they just take extended breaks haha. i had quit playing for years until classic wow came out and now i'm back in deep!

day 34ish on the flowering girls. I will probably start running the reptile bulbs here pretty soon.
I topped three of the four little ladies in the veg tent. They will probably get transplanted soon. Still haven’t got around to germinating any of the Purple Cake or Black Banana Cookies but that’s on the agenda for the run after next I think so I’ll get on that pretty soon. It will be fun to grow something from seed again. I’ll probably do some mainlining/manifolding.

@GthaEnigma thanks for the kind words man. Been growing it straight for over a year now I feel pretty good about it but I still got a ways to go yet as evidenced later in this post haha.

day 40ish. The girls are bulking up but showing signs of potassium def on a couple of plants. I've included a photo of the affected fan leaf down below. I might’ve locked potassium out a little bit by keeping pH around 6.4/6.5. Fed today 1600ec at 6.2 pH. Also added a bit extra part B of my nutes to the recipe. Gonna alternate between 2 squirts and 3 squirts of pH down per bucket haha. Hopefully that will help.

Also I found time to pop a couple Purple Cake seeds so maybe there will be some real phenohunting in this thread sooner rather than later. I transplanted the next gen into 3 gal and topped one of them again, as well. Pics of all below. ??

Day 45ish on the flowering girls. Not sure what is light burn and what is/was potassium def/pH at this point. But I think they’ve got enough green to make it the last few weeks. I hope. Can’t let them get this close to the lights again one of the colas is really suffering (front left).

veg plants are getting big so they’re getting topped again and again. Purple cake seedlings are both looking healthy. 8C9993CB-A152-4973-8060-0DEE0F914DCE.jpeg
