In Bloom
Hello all,
I'm a 60-something retired guy after 35 years of service as a fire captain/medic. Ive been a gardener for the past couple of years, mostly driven by COVID and staying home for extended periods. I thought, what could I do in my isolation with nobody coming over. The answer was obvious.
So I started with seeds/genetics that were readily available. From bag seed to some commercial seedbank sites I grew a little bit of everything.
Tired of hermies and genetic whakadoodles I discovered actual breeders. Tired of wasting my time and resources on crap genetics.
So Ive purchased but have not grown yet some Dark Horse Bruce Banner Original F2's and some Bodhi seeds.
And speaking of Bodhi seeds, Im so new to understanding their lineage and line that its mostly a shot in the dark. I prefer sativas/sativa dominant hybrids. I dont enjoy the couch lock experience and I prefer a 'cake' taste, though taste is subjective so I'll just say I like a tasty smoke on the spice/berry side of things, if that makes sense. Ive just discovered taste... yipee!
I grow in soil with NFTG nutes under LED lights.
Good to be a part of this community, happy gardening to all
And if someone could recommend a current Bodhi strain on the sativa side of things I would greatly appreciate it.
