Today I'd have to say the pupilstan really has my eye. The purple is coming out really nice and still a couple weeks away for her most likely. She's gonna be some good medicine, as is everything else we have in our tents. I have the list for next run put together and it's 2 strains heavy so we have to decide which 2 we are gonna cut, which sucks but we will only have room for 15 plants after we get another tent(2'x4'x6'). We have so much insulating to do down there too before it gets really cold out. A mild winter would be great. I will post the list tomorrow after we make our 2 cuts☮☮

Ok, here's our final strain list for the next run. I'll also give some details on our plans, some changes we had to make because of financial issues(again) and the autos we'll be running while this next round is slowly vegging in our cool but not cold basement. Things always go so much slower during the winter which is fine by me. The only reason we are running autos is @Twenty20 Adam sent me a bunch of autos to journal and i've only gotten around to the purple biscauto because of my injury. Another reason is, this run will take us quite a long time. We'll be done with an entire auto run before we even start flowering the photos so we gotta make sure we have meds to last that entire grow.

Every strain that isn't feminized, we'll be starting 3 seeds. For feminized seeds we will just start 1. We only need one lady per strain. Once they reach maturity, 30 days or so, we will take 3 clones per plant that is left. They will root up in our closet and when they show roots they'll be put in soil in solo cups. One of each strain will then be flipped to 12/12 until they show sex. The other female clones will veg down in the veg tent until their siblings let us know what they are. Once they show sex we cull all the boys upstairs and downstairs. The female clones that just showed us sex will also be culled. If we had more room we'd reveg them but no need for that since their sister clones have been chilling in veg slowly growing. This process takes time but will leave us with a much better start to flower than growing straight from seed to harvest. I also get to teach the Mrs all of the ins and outs of the vegetative cycle since she tapped in right at the start of flower this time. In the next comment I'll talk about what we're using to grow this time and then finally the list of strains.

We were going to go strictly organic. If our financial situation would have been what it's supposed to be we wouldn't have to go the cheap round again but oh well. Promix has always grown me nice flowers, just not huge flowers. $13 a bale, promix all purpose is what were going with again. For nutrients we are using a few things. Some plants will get the veg+bloom line again. Some will get the dry nutes from Aurora innovations and we are gonna go super dirt cheap on some and get the fox farm organic trio. Everything will be amended with a little of this and that along the way but I want to try some new shit along the line as long as it's affordable. We'll also be incorporating nematodes into all of our soil mixes because fuck thrips lol. I want some nice green leaves free of ugly ass spots for once. They are way less in number now that it's under 80 degrees, I haven't seen one crawling in days. We will be using a 600w mh/hps dimmable light for the 4x4 tent, 400w mh/hps dimmable light in the 3x3, the aglex 240 in the 32x32x60 tent and when we get the 2x4 we have 5 LED lights to choose from. All of this and some plastic sheeting covering the cold spots in the basement should give us a nice garden temperature. The average temperature in our basement in the winter months without a garden down there hovers around 50°F. That is even with an open furnace vent blowing hot air down there day and night.

Since we use it everyday for what ails us like our Mary j, we were thinking of incorporating a couple kratom(mitragyna speciosa) plants into are garden this winter. It'll take about a year before the leaves have enough alkaloids to be of use but I can get cuts and learn how it grows. Plus, having my own plants safe in my basement might be smart considering the Feds are close to making this plant illegal in the states soon. It's literally no stronger than a shot of espresso effects wise. It does cause dependence and addiction but what doesn't? Most people who take kratom are better off taking a plant than the other shit they would take if not for the plant. Myself, I take it for its moderate pain relief and mood elevation. It's very bitter, but much better than all the pills. Mother nature always knows what is best for us.

What pretty pics and a beautiful strain!! Glad you're at least able to type stuff here and hope things will be better soon!
A visit to a good chiropractor can do wonders, I combine that with sauna's, CBD, and Wim Hof Method. Great for those dealing with chronic pain.

I'm curious how your kratom adventure will turn out, we are branching out too, to healing mushrooms, maybe some magical ones too.
And totally agree, Mother nature knows best, but mother nature doesn't set a broken bone or re-attaches tendants, so pls do yourself a favor and get a few xrays and let a good doc help out?

I forgot to mention, because I'm blazed off some lemon bean live sauce, that after we are done sexing the clones we will dispatch the mothers since we will have a clone or two of each plant already in veg and no room for all of those plants. If we have more than one we'll pick the best looking one, repot into their final homes, veg for a small bit then flip to flower. Hopefully we have a female of each strain but if not that's how it goes, no biggie.

The autos we'll be starting soon will be

Glue sniffer Twenty20
Go-go Twenty20
Knows candy Twenty20
HOTZ Twenty20 all from @Twenty20 Adam
Cantaloupe kush Mosca
Trizzlers ×whitebread from @Kold Kasiz
Bobberberry from @High kev

We will have a separate journal for this autoflower grow in the autoflower section of the site. This journal here will only be for photoperiod plants, after the purple biscauto is finished.

We're gonna start the autos in their final pots which will be either 2 gallon mylar grow bags or 2 gallon felt grow bags. I like the mylar ones for autos because they are taller and i've noticed they veg a little longer and get a bit bigger in these taller 2 gallon mylar bags than the shorter 3 or 5 gallon felt bags. Starting in these taller, slimmer mylar bags will allow us to fit 8-10 plants in our closet. When this round is all done growing and drying we will clean, sanitize and treat the entire basement for bugs. Then we have to clean the back section behind the sheets which is a 3x8 foot section. That's where our 2x4 tent will go. First we'll have to insulate an exterior storage room door, the north and west walls, get styrofoam pieces cut for the floor of each tent plus a piece that goes behind the entire length of the tents that are near them walls. After all this is done we will transfer the autos from the upstairs closet to the 4x4 tent under the 600w hps at 75% on a 20/4 schedule then start all the seeds for the winter photoperiod grow in the upstairs closet in jiffy pots. They were on sale. We got 100 for only $4 and they work fine for seed starting. It's going to be a lot of work but by the time we're done we'll be mostly weatherproof, able to hold heat in the winter and able to keep good temps in the warm season with an added portable air conditioner. Im kind of glad topanga canyon decided to take its sweet time. It gives us plenty of time to plan, gather supplies, start the autos and get the basement ready before we start one of the biggest projects we've ever done.

We would like to thank everybody here at PH that donated seeds and made this grow possible for us. I don't think we'll have a reason, or time even, to grow anything besides strains from all the nice folks here. If we buy anything it'll still be packs on dcse from you guys here lol. Thanks for your support everyone!!
