Does Blueberry Muffin finish fast normally? I have a cross, Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin and I know Blue Cheese finishes fast, but that cross was the first thing I pulled this season. I was kinda surprised how quick it was.
Definitely, breeder lists it at like 45 or 50 days, I'm not expecting mine to truly be that early (I know the deal with breeder flower times) almost every grow I've seen is done at or before 60 days.

I've seen an auto go from veg to harvest in 45 days, never a regular plant with 60-70 being the norm after flipping. Maybe those breeders are not counting the 10-15:days for a plant to transition to flower. Who knows but the plant will be ripe and ready when the plant is ripe and ready?

Blueberry Muffin has early finishers but yeah, 60-70 is the norm. @dank.tek ran 100 beans and only had a couple that finished early, the majority were 60-70.

I personally think the breeder's times are based on perfectly dialed-in environments, probably c02 supplementation & they might be flipping clones off of seed-grown mothers? All of which likely lead to immediate flower response & no 2-week lag on showing flower. ...?? Oh and they're giving you the numbers off of the quickest flowering pheno out of a group. ..??

HSC does all outdoor. Tested in both in and out. Numbers off the quickest finishers? Why not. P Caper will tell me if there's fast finishers but almost always clocks his photos at 60-70 even if there's quickies.

Thanks :)

I hadn't ran that before and I was pretty surprised to see Amber trichomes so quickly. Totally running it again, and I imagine the Blueberry Muffin itself would be some good smoke as the cross is tasty :)

All mine is outdoor; I start seedlings inside as Spring isn't always warm enough here to put them right out, but once the temps level out a bit I take them outside. Blue Cheese can be ready near the end of September but I wasn't sure how Blueberry Muffin went.

HSC has a handful of strains that finish early like that. Hella Jelly also come to mind. I had one pheno "good enough" at 51 days and the other one still took 9 weeks.

Getting some early frost on the FAB (and the CMK) and although I know it's super early, but right about now, the "sweet" or "fruit" notes usually come thru when you rub these sugar leaves. . .. on these right now, I'm getting an almost soapy potpourri vibe that I once got off Archive's Flavour Pack; now, that was a plant I couldn't shut up about & I couldn't smoke it quick enough ??. OMFG if the FAB retains this "soap-pourri" profile, I'm gona have to divvy this out like CAP did with the MAC1! The world needs more soapy strains! Aren't you guys getting sick of fuel terps yet? I kinda am ??‍♂️

My grammy used to wash my mouth out with soap. I'm not sick of the fuelly terps yet.

Keeping a "fridge cut", a method I learned from Budderton @ Overgrow. Put a clean, dry cut into a baggie, and this will stay in the fridge for about 8+ weeks, at which point I'll cut a fresh edge off the stem, and refresh it in a cup of water, then stab it into a cup of coco or a root plug. This seems to be a GREAT way to hold cuts for extended periods, especially for people like me with plant count limit

No way!! Does this sorcery really work!?!? What's roughly the percentage of success on such an act? Im VERY interested in this if it works well. Thanks for sharing!

The fridge cut method? ABSOLUTELY! :) It was taught to me by Budderton on the Overgrow forums, it's a technique quite a few ppl use, including a close friend of mine, with success. I just mirror Buddeton's method, he himself has successfully held cuts for about 9 weeks, at which point they weresuper wilted & horrid looking, but sprang back to life in a glass of water & were rooted. For me personally, this is my second attempt; my first attempt was poor & cuts didn't root, I'm trying it again in a such simpler manner.
