I have been playing with a section to bring in content with RSS feeds.

The users for these posts are being pulled from the feed itself. The original content owner. They are not valid members of PH. If there are any questions or concerns let me know as I am testing

I was just thinking about RSS feeds.... when I worked in tech my browser opened to a modular homepage where I had feeds for everything I was interested in, but with the advent of social media support for it kind of died... but I miss it. Now all my news and articles come from Google feeds and I feel like their algorithms actually make it harder for me to find stuff to read... little off topic but was interesting you shared this project while I already had RSS feed on the mind lol

Needless to say, I'm a fan of this feature

It's been so long since I used feeds I'm not sure if you can pull from these but I frequent these two pretty regularly...

Otherwise you've got it pretty well covered!

In my opinion, RSS feeds are something we should def get back to... Its a great way to get the actual news, not the news google wants you to read...

Furthermore, there may or may not be a pHenohunter podcast RSS Feed under construction... I think that could be a great way for the guys and gals to discuss their work in real time, and then we can stream it back to everyone else on the interwebz.

I was able to add the wikileaf blog, but getting the feed from biomedcentral wasn't happening hehe

Love the rss feed idea. Looking forward to the results once the community has shared those cool sites they've bookmarked over the years.

Not sure how much value this link provides, but I do see the odd interesting story. It's an aggregator of cannabis related news curated by a Canadian news company. I linked the edmonton portal but you can reach the same content through any Postmedia page:

The feeds came back empty on the edmonton journal site.
