I was lucky enough to find a pack and hope it makes it over to me. I'm also looking at Genius and 710's G13Hp, couldn't find any old Dominion or Costal beans.

Ever since I grew that G13(NL)HP x (bubba x deep chunk), I've been getting hounded for more, it was something special.

I just dropped the hermi seeds in water because they were too good and I want another look.

The plan is to use Ace's bubba hash and cross it to the Pterodactyl and go from there.

@Schwaggy P How did the NLHP hunt turn out?

Bodhi’s NLHP had a much stronger finish than the Coastal NLHP. The Coastal group had some flashes of color toward the end, fox tailing, and some late banners (no full-blown pollen sacs). The Bodhi group had a couple phenos fatten up with no nanner issues.

Here is the best Coastal NLHP pheno (fruity smell, sedative):


Here is the Bodhi NLHP I ultimately selected to move on with (very hashy smell/taste, makes you hungry and sleepy):


Honorable mention: Bodhi NLHP that smells like berry scone and has a giggly/happy high before settling into a relaxation. The effect not being the stone I was aiming for disqualified her in future sedative work but she could easily be a keeper to someone out for solid smoke.


I have a few clones of the selected Bodhi NLHP on a table now and will be pollinating with saved Bodhi NLHP and Coastal NLHP pollen.

Hey @Schwaggy P is there gonna be a new drop anytime soon? Last drop was completely by surprise. Moving forward I would like to plan ahead when grabbing your gear.

I should have a drop/restock coming up in a few weeks that includes a new skunk.

I have not popped the Pterodactyl yet. I had an issue that caused me to tear down and halt my flower room for awhile, so many things were put on hold (have since reset). I did recently shuck some beans of Pre’98 Bubba x ‘80s Black Afghani BX1 and [Pre’98 Bubba x (‘88G13HPxNL#1)]. If you’d like I can send you some (if you’re US-based) and you might be able to find something that reminds you of the NLHP x Bubba x Deep Chunk in them.

Smart man. I've got Ace's Bubba Hash getting crossed to Haze and G13 Hazeplant soon, that's a stout plant. She's been a tough one to clone though, very susceptible to mold in a humidity dome.

710's Ghash is different growthwise, it doesn't stretch nearly as much and the bud structure is slightly different than the one from Hazeman. The thing that I remember most distinctly was the terps from one pheno. It smelled terrible, almost identical to clothes that have been left in the washing machine way too long and mildewed with a hint of hot garbage, and was LOUD. I had it drying in the same room as my washer and dryer, and more than once I stuck my head inside the washing machine to look for something that I forgot and had possibly commenced putrefaction before remembering that, no, it was just that plant drying. The smoke was excellent, I can still taste it.

@Schwaggy P I'd be happy to pop those [Pre’98 Bubba x (‘88G13HPxNL#1)] beans, DM me if you want to trade!

My man @Kanzeon is a rabid G13 fan and would definitely put those to good use.

Excellent to see a side by side of the Costal v Bodhi.

The berry pheno does sound interesting, anything with giggles makes for great shared smoke.

Sorry if I missed it but that’s the NL2x88G13 from Bodhi? If so, I also selected one very similar to the one you did. Very hashy, nothing fruity or sweet, and is narcotic potent. Super dense buds. Cured in the jar I get an almost acrid pissy smell from it.

It’s one hell of a plant!

How many packs do you usually pop for a hunt of a line your exploring?

ideally 4 packs. If I can't get ahold of that many and need to see numbers, I'll open pollinate the pack and start there. I'm currently open pollinating a pack of Super Skunk F4 that is: "the original super skunk stock. Same stock Neville made for sensi seeds first release in early 1990"

The 6 Mill (Dominion Seed co) plants were good plants: orange and sour diesel smell/taste, decently potent, tall stretchers, good yield, couple phenos had late flower nannerism

She tastes like a slightly sweetened greasy hash. It's not the drier/harsher hash flavor of hashplants but the oily/greasy afghani quality that lingers after exhale. The effect is a killer stone that has you spacing out and reminding yourself to blink. (killer tray courtesy of @HydroRed )
