Would love to proceed on a very important subject here. Some quotes from private conversations with folks are here:
'Hello, good man.
Need to talk a specific subject with you. A need of advice.
Do you know someone, who can code?
I thought, it's possible to develop an online media to gather many, very many C. plant folks on it.
IG, forums, et cetera, many of them have some strange rules of 'em to be ruled by.
An example, there is a thread, where folks share info on seedsbanks and their experiences of them. Good, bad, legit or not, prices, service, everything...
You can post something useful and helpful about side banks, but they, admins, will banned you even for it... Unbelievable, but true.
How to use such forums for good, to interact with others, to be a member of 'em, I can't understand anymore, lol.
Your thoughts?'
good man replied:
'I agree that there needs to be a more comprehensive Internet meeting place for cannabis growers to collaborate and share their experiences. Right now I sometimes visit a couple of the Internet cannabis diary sites like growdiaries.com or even the less detailed diaries at 420magazine.com. But they both lack in the way they are set up. It would be nice to have a competing central location on the Internet where serious indoor and outdoor growers can connect as a collective. Informational bulletin boards, pictorial and grow data journals, info on all the paraphernalia growers need indoors and out, legal seed venders, maybe even grow contests for prizes and different incentives to keep people engaged.
I've liked the idea of that kind of Internet site for some time now, but little is available. I've thought about launching something on my own, but I'm not a skilled coder. I can write and have done business copywriting in the past -- but I'm not really a Web technician.
If you ever need someone to help you write good copy for a website like that, I can help. Code is just not my thing.
To be honest with you, I am kind of dissatisfied in general over what's available on the Internet for serious cannabis growers. In my honest opinion, there is far too much crazy misinformation swirling around out there. Lies heaped on more lies with a side of lies as an aperitif. Mostly to promote greedy and often illegitimate marketing campaigns from people out trying to make a few quick bits. A lot of junk information in need of a damn good renal cleansing, I feel.
That's about all the input on that subject I have on this end.'
