So today is all about upgrades for the 4x4. Swapping out the 1000w HPS/MH hood for 2x Mars Hydro TSL-2000 LEDs. Total of 600W and I'm stoked. Also really excited for this rounds selection. I may have to update my carbon filter to a 6 inch just to get a little greater airflow from my outside air vent but we will see. I was pulling air from outside into my old hood to cool the HPS/MH bulbs.



Also, as an update to The Landrace Team issue. They are doing the bare minimum and replacing 7 seeds. I've gone this far so I will run Pakrai75 this time but I will not be supporting that outfit further.

Finally some interesting pics to show! The new 2x 300w LED setup in the 4x4 has been pretty damn awesome. Things are staying a little shorter this time. I'm assuming with 1000w HPS out of the mix the heat has been far less and therefore less stretching. In winter months I always see less stretch as it is. I have a lot to post but will start off with an early flower group shot and some closeups of Meltdown @BobBitchen . This is a really impressive strain and can certainly see why everyone loves this strain.

Meltdown #1- The terp profile is really unique. Very strong "pen ink" terp. This pheno is tiny but mighty and more on the earthy side. I have found in 12/12 that if a pheno is a fast flower it will flip fast and stay small. Bud structure is really chonky given the flower speed and size. Crazy frost cover and LOUD terps!



Meltdown #2 - This pheno was also fast to flower compared to the rest of the tent but much larger than pheno #1. Pen ink terp is here as well but with a really nice lime terp that many have reported. Same huge level of frost cover and almost as loud as pheno #1.

Cuban Black Haze - Really excited to see what these ladies can do. Pheno #1 is pretty frosty and has a juicy fruit terp on the nose. Pheno #2 is just starting to get frosty and is kind of quiet. Reminds me of Bandaid Haze on the nose. I can see where bandaid haze got some of its traits after seeing these two in action. I was not a fan of bandaid haze to be honest as it just didnt deliver anything "piff" but I digress. Pheno #1 early on had a bandaid haze terp profile as well but took a huge turn to the tropical. Hoping to see if any legendary piff terps come out too.

#2 looks exactly like one of my Bermuda Triangle Haze (Triangle Kush x Cuban Black Haze), right down to the curling leaves. Can't wait to see how she pans out for you!

PIff Coast PC3 - @THT Dude, thank you so much for sending this cut over. Got it in the garden at the right time and its just as big as everything else now. From the nose this cut in early flower has all the terps you would find in Bandaid Haze or Uptown Brown in their final flowering stages give or take. This beauty is just getting started and I can already detect the terps are going to evolve beyond where those strains stopped.


Tampa Crippie #3 - Solid strain great frost covering, bud structure and it looks like its going to be straight gas on the nose. I have such a thick and even canopy its been hard to get good standalone pics of individual plants.

I took the rooted clone and went right to 12/12!

So I did end up getting the 7 seeds replaced. 6/7 survived and only minimal upgrade to the protection for a long journey. That will more than likely be the final and only purchase I will make from them. Lowest effort possible from their end made for a meh customer experience. The Pakrai itself is kind of meh as well. Not the greatest bud structure out there but I do get some solid thai terps. I would have rather bought bitcoin than these seeds lol.

Yeah thanks for the update. The fact they only sent you an "exact" 7 seeds as replacement instead of a full pack tells me all I need to know.

PC3 cut - I'm still cautiously optimistic about this piff cut. As time marches on I get more hints of the legendary piff terp. Mostly on my fingers after 20 minutes of getting all touchy feely. Sometimes I can smell it right off the bud as I'm poking around doing stuff too. @THT How is your cut turning out? I know you're some time ahead of where I'm at. right now.

Switching gears to the 2x4 I have been running some freebies from @THT (Cole Train x Cackleberry) and (Amnesia Haze X Sour Strawberries) Some really interesting stuff going on here.

Amnesia Haze X Sour Strawberries - Only 1 female this time but a real beauty. I can tell from running Tangie x Sour Strawberries and the Sour Strawberries F2 how much
the male influenced this cross but there is a twist in there which has to be from amnesia haze. I really like it


Cole Train x Cackleberry - 4 females and I would say lean more towards the Cole Train in the terps area. All have seem to a similar bud structure that would suggest structurally that the Cackleberry added something to it. A mix of terps and there is one front runner as she is loud and bright which I would assume is the cole train mother shining through.
