I'm sure I have a set or 2 of bubble bags collecting dust.
Hers a hash tip. Use a glass bottle filled with hot water, cap/seal so no water leaks out. Use the bottle to warm and flatten the hash. I used old cellophane from cig packs and worked great.

I haven't made any Hash as of yet. I take "Dirty Kief" to my Uncle though; he has MS, and his lungs are bad, and I felt like the reason he had trouble smoking was the vegetable matter from buds, so I took him some one day, and he tried it out, and said he just played with the temp on his Vaporizer, and it worked good. It's non-sifted Kief. There's bits of green in it, but mostly just the Kief. Works for him though.

I have a vice I bought at harbor junk just to press hash blocks. Use that, a hair dryer, and parchment paper.
I've made hash blocks with items like what they use in Columbia to make coke blocks. Same principal, but different inputs.

Do NOT use a heat gun! Hair dryer works great as it's a gentle heat. A heat gun will cook the oil/trichomes and ruin it. The use of an oven (kitchen or vac oven) works also. As long as your kitchen oven can be set to 170*. Not all kitchen ovens can go that low.
I've done LOTS of testing. Various bulbs, orientation of said bulbs, frequency of changing bulbs, etc. 15yrs or so or lots of fails, but lots of success also.

We do use the Oven for decarboxilating, but that is it. Hair dryer though, I like that, as you can use a lower setting. I mean worse case you made an edible by accident lol.
