started using side lighting some years ago and have noticed a good return (yields) because of this, if you use cfl's (500watters self ballast) + 4 (100 watters at each corner) gave excellant results NOw fast forward using Quantrum Boards with 12by12 Full spectrum panels on sides - got very good returns - There are even lights that you can put under your canopy that increases yields by 10-15%- if I remember right ( basicly it's a tube lighting that you place on your grow pots) using side lighting can keep plant from stretching too much and fills out your plant better. Didn't use side light last grow and noticed the yields were not as good, but OK, NOw one step better use 12by12 panels (red)- for veg and blue spectrum panels for flower. Thoughts on ?? I do use a good QB's with good light pentration (Budget Led's) feel the extra cost of runnning sidelighting out weighs the returns !! was thinking that sidelighting might influence your main lighting in a negative way in reguard to main light pentration ?
