make him rick simpson oil . Not smoking recommenced if it was me
have him consume that on edible based and since high tolerance edible. Have him do “trial” very small amounts and have him start very small the first week than gradually let him have more. I have severe seizures and I was at one point having 10-100 seizures a month. rick Simpson saved my life and if I wasn’t taking it I would still be at that level. I know this cause w/e I don’t take this dosage or lower = seizures
it works , and all the patients I have saved and I only accept cancer and high level under me Will also vouch for such. Learn how to make it and it’s worth it. It’s worth the effort!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Glad your seizures are lighter now!
My bulldog suffers from seizures as well, from inner ear scarring. He's been on cbd for years, and it's really cut his seizures down too.
I'm definitely thinking along the lines of simpson oil, anointing oil, or Phoenix tears, and making it myself... The problem is lack of raw materials, which is why I mentioned the PNW specifically. I've heard it can be found pretty reasonably, but have no first hand knowledge.
I imagine it's going to take a fair amount to make any long term cycle of meds.
Agreed, RSO is the way to go. I have a hemp variety going and multiple other strains going right now specifically to make some. I'm in the PNW, and would gladly provide you cuts, or product as it comes down. In the immediate, most dispensaries carry it.
Thanks so much for the support, man!
I have plenty of genetics, I just don't know if I have the time, or room to grow them out, is the problem. If it was coming into spring maybe, but it is what it is.
His first chemo is Monday, and hopefully that will help some, but I'm still looking into every possible option, obviously.
Really appreciate you guys in this community!
Icmag is my original home, but this place is more active, and seems to have a better vibe lately.
I'm also an icmag refugee. Been years since I was active there, though.
I'd recommend getting him some 1:1 edibles from a dispensary. They'll help a lot with the pain and nausea post chemo.
I feel you on the space thing. I wish spring were coming, would be able to get the hemp plants outside and let em rip.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you out. My ol lady's grandpa just passed away from cancer, but we were able to keep him relatively comfortable for a while with cannabis. What kind of lymphoma was your dad diagnosed with, if you don't mind me asking?
Yeah, I'm sure he'll be getting more into edibles, and should stop smoking cigarettes and weed, after years and years.
I can't remember the exact name, but it starts with an M.
I guess it's pretty rare, and incurable, but they say there's a 90% chance of getting it into remission, so I'm keeping fingers crossed to keep him around and comfortable for as long as possible.
Thanks again so much for the support!
Absolutely man. Based on a quick google search, it's definitely Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, which people have been known to live to old age with rapid intervention and continuous treatment. There are two types that start with M: Marginal Zone Lymphoma and Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Both fall under the Non-Hodgkins type.
I wish you and yours the best. Stay positive, and reach out if you need anything. Not sure where you are in the PNW, but I drive a fast car and can get around pretty damn quick if need be.
Thank you so much!
It might be the marginal zone, because I've heard the mantle cell term before, and I don't think that was what he said. I just found out yesterday, but my brother's been talking to his nurse buddy, who I guess said something to the effect of this being the cancer you'd want, if you ever had a choice, for what that's worth.
We're definitely trying to stay positive, and fight this however we can.
He'll probably be eating a lot better, and a lot more mushrooms, like Reishi and Turkey Tail, to start.
I'm not actually in the PNW, but the mitten. Ive just heard stories of reasonable wholesale surplus out that way, and didn't know if there was any truth to that or not.
That's good to know. I've seen some ridiculous numbers, and it would probably need to be, to make enough for at least a 90 day program. Never been to the area yet, but I know it's beautiful, and I always like a road trip.
The more cannabis in a persons body, since a body can consume it. The more a body can defend exp when it’s weak and sick.
people can say or disagree with me all they want but I have reduced many patients from pain killers by 50% or were on cancer treatment and they were on death beds and they saw such amazing results they claimed it saved their life’s and i can go on and on from what has done. cannabis is the real deal and if you want to save someone you can’t play around. If you can’t grow the amount , (if it was me and I was in your position ) get someone or find the extractor/grower that has tat does, or even most clubs sell r simpson oil these days. To bad this isn’t under insurance and it sure as well sure be.
a person has a decision if the government won’t help you, cause most of the time the government will never make sense and good luck on waiting for them to support holistic or your choices on health.
not trying to be rude , its just timing is so essential if your dad needs it (make your own decision obviously )
Non cannabis related but have him take Chlorella everyday. Can't tell you what it did for my wife. Really really helps mitigate the punch from treatment. Doesn't interfere with any meds or therapy and leaches heavy metals and toxins from the body and blood. Honestly can't express how vital this was for my wife. Incredible. Dr.s we floored. She did treatment and never slowed down. Told us to expect all kinds of adverse reactions by certain dates into treatment. She experienced little to none of them and what she did deal with was right at the tail end. Sun Chlorella is good but pricey or Nuts.com has it in bulk grown in sterile hydroponic farms from S. Korea or something like that. Way cheaper and can make smoothies. Alot of it comes from Japan and since it leaches toxins and heavy metals from the air too be careful. Fukushima ruined huge swaths and contaminated it. Stick with Nuts or Sun.
Hey, @GCG my dad got the chlorella, but I guess it doesn't recommend dosages. How did you wife use it?
He's finally getting things worked out, and should start chemo soon... And got a volcano vape to try and get off the smoke.
