Noticed them a few days ago, done some digging and seems they can help or hurt depending on what they're feeding on, I've just been conducting things as normal and the plants seem to be totally fine just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them???

I had em and got rid of em asap. Though the plants were good, they are annoying when you get to brushing around in the garden and you feel em bouncing off of your face. I had one almost jump into my eye. Thats when I hit the plants with some Monterey brand Spinosad. They were all gone the next day.

I'd go about citing all this but I'll just tell you I read it from a university of MO paper.

"Their food includes decaying vegetation, fungi, bacteria, pollen, algae, lichens and insect feces. The feeding activities of springtails enrich the soil by breaking down these forms of organic matter and releasing the nutrients they contain. Because of these activities, springtails are considered to be a good indicator of soil health."

Also stated they can appear due to a lack of water or a sudden influx of water, so they follow their ideal habitat.
