SSHZ does Ethos “Candy Store” under 2 Gavita LED’s

I have found some of Ethos's stuff to be sterile.......anotherwords, male parts but the pollen lack the X chromosome so no seeds were formed. Depending on your circumstances though, better safe than sorry.

I'm also undecided when to actually start the next thread.......... I may begin it with the switch to flowering in a month. Vegginng is boring for all of us.

I feel you in the veg part. Been trying to start mothers and clones and its been one failure after another. Been in veg 3 months now with nothing to show ?

BUT I finally recieved my pbp order and the mothers look 100x better than the have the past 2.5 months. Definitely happy to have switched. Now I wish I would've started with pbp initially ?
Thanks sshz!

Time to do a final report/summary of the Candy Store strain.......since I am not smoking these days, I'm having to rely on others for reports and opinions, but these are all seasoned smokers and can be trusted to give an honest and fair review.

So, my 3rd LED grow under the Gavita's. 5 week veg, 9 weeks or a little more in flowering. 96 oz total, a slight decline overall in weight from the previous 2 grows, but I attribute that to the strain and possibly the UV-B lighting. I was able to coax a bit more height from some of the plants this grow, by raising the LED's more in later veg. Massive was used at a 25% rate for the second half of flowering. But still, an easy grow with no issues to speak of, it's the 3rd strain I've done that had the Ethos "Cookies" in it, which I apparantly like.

People are reporting the strain shines in it's 50/50 indica/sativa buzz, as it doesn't lean to far in either direction and has a very nice balance to it. I can go thru and easily pick out which buds lean to the Cookies side, and the others which lean too the Lemon Berry OG side. Everyone has mentioned how smooth and sweet the smoke tastes and burns and is perfect for joints, bongs, pipes or whatever. The smoke can be awful smelly when burnt, so be aware of that.

So, overall, a nice strain from Ethos. No male parts thru the grow, so it's stable too. As seen above, you have to be very careful with much of Ethos stuff, as hermies often show. Not sure I'd do this one again, but that's not a knock- just there's lots of others I'm interested in.

Thanks! Doing ok, lots of testing going on with no definitive answers, just a lot of abnormalities. But exercising daily, watching the diet carefully, etc. Feeling a lot better with the 16 lb. weight loss actually.

There won’t be a new thread with this next crop, Ethos End Game, but I will start another when the Orange Gasm runs again in August.

what do you all think of the "thc" amounts in Ethos gentics ? Seems the "In house Genetics" strain need an extra week of two putting it longer than their suggesate flower times (60-72days) Understand that here are varibles in flower times like type of lighting and cultivator, ect

Regarding UV-B, experience tells me not to overdo the “on” time with these........ the plants definitely are not crazy about getting hit with too much UV. Although I did run a couple of days near two hours, I think around 1 hour a day is about right. But that’s after slowly introducing it to the room for 6 days........ I’ll continue to use it in flowering, but within reduce parameters. Does it make a difference with thc production, who knows. The Next Gasm grow should answer that....

Do you have a current grow journal ? I like watching your grows and learning from them ?

I did an End game journal elsehwere, you'll have to search it out on google. It turned out great, a very strong indica which knocked the shit out of me every night.

Not one strain ever hit the stated Ethos number......... but my opinion on them is getting better of late. I'll be doing grandpa's Stash up next, after the gasm finishes.
