Stephanie Nuggz f2-f3 breeding project

20241231_191110.jpg"Cabernet Sauvignon" mom now in reveg, took lots of abuse and still has the "thailand" vitality, it wants to re-veg and it does so quickly.
I will be making many clones for seed production as soon as i can. This is a "pinot noir" phenotype - which is the mother of "Cuvee" from TGA subcool seeds, sourced from Aficionado seeds.

The name "pinot noir" is a misnomer.
this phenotype is more influenced by the thai floral and black pepper/Caryophyllene influence, longer flowering and better effects overall. Sexually stable too! Passed all my tests, have about 100+ f3 seeds to test and see if she's got the goods.
Smoke wise I give it an 9/10 on flavor, 8/10 on effects. More debilitating than some can handle, a few puffs and I need to take a seat, very strong. Will cause a 'crash' if over indulged. I want tonreverse this and make s1 seeds of this phenotype and fem seeds using my Querkle "Black Coconut" phenotype. Perfect match.

Dude, this is one of my favourite threads.
Mad respect, for the work you are doing.

My nose has been subpar lately. Not gonna lie, I am lil jealous reading through your journal. Your vivid descriptions take me there, as I recall the subtle nuances that I could once perceive.
As I have trouble nailing down scents, I enjoy your journey all the more.

Thanks, for the access, this is like watching descriptive television for the blind.
Turkish delight/rosewater candy 🍬 plushberry phenotype

That one had me sitting up in my chair.
Respect often goes that way. Sometimes Lilac blossom moving towards automotive. But the floral rose water is usually there.

Happy New Year, Shua

The Original P1 mom to this hybrid was a hybrid I called "Gashmoygle" which smelled like chocolate cherry liqueur, although it had a rare phenotype within that hybrid which smelled like Durian fruit, I wondered if I would find one again in offspring, well in the f2's I did. A singular plant has the fruity/fried onion/rotten cabbage/ skatole smells I was looking for.

If these f3 offspring can reproduce the "Durian" phenotype reliably then I will certainly inbreed that to f4, it's showing in the current f2 offspring but recessively, as they weren't selected for.

You getting that from ..... man... from what I have read, Durian smells like Limburger Cheese tastes, with that cooked onions and funk thing.... I honestly have never had a decent Sativa with that ! I guess it makes sense though; Durian is grown in Thailand, not Afghanistan lol. Nice work. If you start smelling Cheese at all let a bro know!

Thank you for the kind words 🙏, Happy New Year to you too.

I have lots of spare seeds(including those in the picture) if you're interested , I would happily mail you some.

I can see a few of these being good to mix with cheese, the skatole smelling plants and the red wine smelling plants especially!

Who do you think has the best cheese ? It's one of those varieties that really has a cult following, like 'Hoggsbreath'. Blue cheese from dinafem was a favorite.

Yeah that would be an amazing combo !

I've got an entire thread for just that lol. But in terms of all around quality of finished flower...

Alpha Skunk Cheese
Brisco's Susie Cream Cheese and Blueberry Cheesecake are both really good
Blue Cheese has always been a favorite of mine, but it always came from the same clone, so I'm not honestly sure which breeder it was.

Black Cheese is there too.... gorgeous plant!

Cheetos and Dead Whabbits were added to that last this past year.

There's two I got from a member that aren't named yet, but Blue Cheese X Mikado, and Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin are both really nice too.

I grew some "Cheesequake" (Cheese x Querkle) back in 2022 but I lost them to a spidermite infestation. Maybe If i get some cheese phenotypes in the near future I can attempt to replicate that hybrid 😈

I've got some "Chelumbian f2" seeds from Norstar Genetics that are ready for germing now that my grow space is cleared.
It's : Cheese(clone) x Santa Marta Colombian Gold (male) bred to f2 for more 'Colombian Gold' phenotypes, so the cheese expressions will be recessive, and easy to spot(smell). I've been more focused on sativas these last few years and "Chelumbian" is my favorite cheese hybrid, the SMCG brings out the more sativa dominant traits of the classic skunk/cheese.
I'll definitely leave some updates on the cheese thread when I have something to showcase.

Oh I very much look forward to that! I'm honestly not very well versed in heavy Sativa leaners, and was surprised to hear one with some of the scent you've seen so, yeah, I'd love to hear more! If you get bored waiting for a Cheese, selfing it sous bring out some recessive traits. I've put real thought into running a bunch of Skunk, and selfing everything to see if I can find "Cheese 2.0" lol.

20241116_061051.jpgThis plant smells like Blackberry chocolate/ice cream after 2 months of cure. The smells in the immediate harvest were very creamy, buttery, earthy and sweet/tart, the creamy/buttery smell is lessened and the tart Blackberry smell hidden underneath has become free, with an accompanying rich chocolate and cream smell you can taste on exhale.
9/10 on this one, I hope to see it improve with time, next harvest will be seedless so I will focus more on flower quality the next time I run these f2's alongside their f3's.

Out of all my potential mother plants, this 'Mango Ginger Soda' mother plant has the most psychedelic shroomy effects, very visual and perception altering for 2 hours on about .5g flower.

Smoke report: smoked .2 in a bong, light rips as this stuff is slightly seeded, micro seeds make for coughing fits. Smooth, yet spicy like ginger ale and mangos. Taste on exhale is green mango, ginger, black cherry. Immediate feeling behind the eyes, ocular and perception altering effects. After 10 minutes I'm having difficulty maintaining compulsive behaviours(Internet surfing) as i intuit my phone is like a parasitic organism that eats human time, "there's more to be done" feelings arise and resting isn't comfortable. Shroomy effects that have you questioning things, I can see this being paranoia inducing for some.

After 2 hours I was sober and looking to sample more, no crash: Moreish yet satiating. 9.5/10

Makes music sound different, perhaps impacts flow state. This stuff is psychedelic, in a perception altering sense.

It took 2 months to mature properly and I suspect that at 3 months it will be even more potent.
9.5/10

Very soon I will be able to take clones and begin another seed production grow.

My favorites are all chugging along.

After 72hrs I got 40/50 successful terminations, I think this batch of rapid rooters was contaminated, Lost a bunch of seeds to mold. Got close to 100% germination 9 my last 3.

I'm going to have to be very careful with a few seeds, as their mother's didn't like making them 😂, more valuable to me. Another 50-60 seeds to germinate by Wednesday.

Mango Soda, Malawi phenotype.

Smoke tests confirm, it's Malawi chemotype.
Overpowering, feel like you're sick, panicky, motor movement and memory impacted, that's the first 20 minutes, it gets less extreme and settles on euphoria for another hour and a half. About 2 hours total effect on two 0.2 bowls. This stuff kicked in when I went for number 3 I was stuck staring at the bowl for a few minutes and then felt like I was wobbly, straight head rush. Delayed reaction, I've smoked this all day, 1 bowl is perfect for an hour of manageable euphoria.

This clones will be used for more "Indica" couchlock chemotype hybrids.

This little f3 is making micro-trichomes. Small but noticeable under microscope. I tried taking a picture but they're just round grey trichomes, no hairs. Not the only plant among 40, maybe another 3-4 displaying these micro-trichs and they're visibly noticeable. I wonder how this translates to the mature plant, I marked all these plants for later observation.

This f2 mom and her offspring appear to be winner's, the smells and funky wine/chocolate/blackberry/cherry smells from the mother are passed on to her seedlings, I can't wait to see these go into flower.

Steph Nuggz f3- Cabernet Sauvignon phenotype

Chocolate, blackberry, black pepper, cherry, cork/wood can be smelled on stem rub just like mom*, mild variance between them mostly on funky vs sweet/tart.

In my moving and transfer process, I knocked over two plants and nearly decapitated them both, IDK how vigorous these two will be, but if they survive I'll will still grow them.
IMG_20250226_153447376.jpgI've never "topped" a week old seedling before, I guess I will see the results. IMG_20250226_153521680.jpg
