? Guy Fire-y ?
While I may be the one starting this journo Suzie will be along shortly and she's hungry to learn.
I got her started with a Magnum GDP and a purple Gherry, both 20 weeks old and can come down any time but we'd like to see the buds swell a bit more first and 2 Magnum Flames autos about 6 weeks old.
She's got enough Masterblend, magnesium sulfate and calcium nitrate to make up 64 gallons of mix which should last a couple months.
I'm going to reiterate much of our conversation today here and I'm sure shell have plenty more questions as we go.
Mixing Masterblend nutrients
For 1 gallon:
MB 2.4 grams
MS 1.2 grams
CN 2.4 grams
This makes full strength for adults plants
32 gallon concentrate
MB 76.8 grams
MS 34.4 grams
CN 76.8 grams
Each in their own 1 gallon container
1/2 cup of each added to 1 gallon of water makes full strength.
Always add the MB to water first then the MS then the CN or the chemical reaction will lock out nutrients to the plants.
Fertigation, which is watering with nutrient water, needs to be done 2-3 x's a day minimum. 4-5 x's is ideal but 2-3 will work well. You cannot over fertigate and never allow the coconut coir to dry out. When fertigating slowly put enough nutrient water into the pot that some, at least a little, runs out of the bottom.
Since I brought some still drying flower we briefly discussed drying/curing. Never jar/bag wet or moist flower. The rule of thumb is wait until a small branch will break and not bend before jarring and then burping the jars/bags daily. Honestly there's not a whole more to it and once you do it a few times you'll learn when it's dry enough to jar.
Boys and girls
Yeah, it's not like that? there's a wealth of info on the pages here. Look around, ask questions and keep reading. This is beyond the best hobby ever and many here want you to be successful!
Oh, and when you get here WELCOME to pHenoHunter?
