Yeah I just can’t help it, from everything that I’ve grown/smoked through the years, SD remains on the top no matter what.
First time i smoked some was the SD Riri cut (came from Rezdog’s release) in 2007, then there were two or three clones floating around in Europe at that time, DHK cut and fakes.
I’ve lost these cuts several years ago, and didn’t find anything that came close to them. Was lucky to grab a pack of Karma’s SD BX4, the pheno I’ve kept reminded me a lot of great memories.
She’s about 90% like the SD i remember.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this SD BX4 release, as the Road Dawg, Sour Josh and Headbanger I had grown from Karma were clearly more sour than diesel.
But this one is just the perfect mix.
So I´ve been searching and collecting (and still am) every Diesel strains that I could get my hands on, and will mainly focus on these for the next year or so.
Here is what I will be soaking during the next couple of months;
This will be the main part of the hunt, I will also focus on orange and chocolate/coffee strains, amongst other things such as Blueberry/Flo, Zkittlez, Island Sweet Skunk, Mango Haze, Cheese, Sundae Driver, etc. Finding a nice fuel OG without any sourness is also on the list ?

Very nice collection of diesels. For me it’s been a more recent kick, and I’ve only grown and harvested the ECSD s1 so far. Have a lot still to dig into. The high of the s1 is very on point for me. A good potent hybrid for anytime of the day. Doesn’t leave me feeling groggy. Great returns on the rosin press. Terps are good, but not very SD I think. They are fruity, with a diesel background. I didnt know Shoreline did a bx3… thats awesome! If you like coffee/chocolate take a look at AK bean brains maybe. His chocolope should be a good one, and he has some chocolate thai in his arsenal.

Yes I get what you mean with that fruity twist, which I didn’t have with the « old school » SD’s.
The Chocolate Thai is another of my favs, and the chocolate crosses I will be hunting are mainly based on it.

Just re-read this and see you have quite a few packs from SoCal seed vault. I was just chatting with him trying to pick up a couple packs of their Strawberry Diesel F2 (they’re out of stock atm), but interested to see how their gear turns out. Anyway, he said their Strawberry diesel is from Classic Seeds IBL, so F2 might be a misnomer. A little search later, and reading through @texasjack’s journal on zlabs.nl, I came across Generic seeds, who also sells Classic’s SD IBL on GLG and Soak n Beans. I picked up two packs. But at $35/pack i might pick up some more from SoCal seed vault. They have a lot of interesting bargains

Here are the 9 JH x Rosetta Stone at 31 days dincenot sure where I saw the RS leaning pheno’s last time lol, as they’re definitely all leaning (more or less) to the JH, especially when sniffing them; typical haze scents that you could find in the Netherlands during the early 2000´s.

Has been a while since the 4x8 hps tent looked like this;
Straciatella in the Mars Hydro tent at 31 days since flipped, will defoliate it for the last time tomorrow;
And got in the mail this morning;
The green labeled containers are 4 seeds of Bubblegum from Serious and 18 seeds of Pinky Blinders from Mosca (Alpha Diesel x Pink 2.0)

Yes they have a great choice of genetics to choose from and for very reasonable prices; that’s mostly why I’ve ordered some packs from them, Bryan is a great guy too!
