COPA is from Maine.

AK Beanbrains is from Alaska.

Lot of guys here from Michigan too that would have gear that probably would work in Carolina.

Bad dog from GLG has freebies tested outdoors. Ran a couple indoor and they were ?!

And of coarse @Amarok lives at the top of the world ?. Just ask him.

Btw, never heard or seen an auto outdoors

Hey all. It has gotten really cold here, and my girls don't seem to be enjoying it.

Sometimes the cold actually helps
I've been fighting thrips on my moms since christ was a cowboy, so I recently put my C99 mom outside for a few days. I figured the cold and the spiders and ladybugs might do the trick. It hit freezing one night and got close a couple other times and she loved it out there. Only reason I brought her in was the long nights were starting to trigger flowering.

As much as we baby them, cannabis is tough. A little cold shouldn't be apocalyptic.

I actually reside in NJ. A huge Carolina basketball fan.

I will check out AK Beanbrains, I haven't heard of them.

I don't know if the autos would work outdoors but hey maybe...

Funny, I was typing the previous reply when you posted this.
I grew a white widow auto outdoors this year. It was my first try with anything outside. Started it inside in May(we had a late Spring) and finished in Mid-August. I wanted to take advantage of the 18+ hour days. It was leafier than inside stuff(typical?) but very flavorful. It saw some low temps and just cruised along.

Hey @Amarok Im sorry to hear about the thrips. That is awesome the cold and ladybugs did the trick.

Learning a good lesson from you. Thank you. I'll remember that for my next grow.

Thank you. It's annoying, but I just consider it part of the journey. Can't really think you know growing until you've dealt with all the possible problems, and I've got a long way to go. Among the lessons learned here was not to let others near my moms. I showed off to a neighbor who was a novice grower and a year later it's still an issue.

Still watching and hoping. I moved my mom cabinet from warm upstairs to cold basement a few days ago when I brought the C99 in. I have noticed they don't care for lower temps, just not sure if they dig deep and hide, or if they die/leave. I've thought they were gone a couple times, but they keep reappearing.

Hey all. It has gotten really cold here, and my girls don't seem to be enjoying it.

I finally made the choice to harvest. I'm bummed, I think they need another 10 days. But it is, what it is.

I didn't take any pictures before I chopped.

I'll post some once I get them into jars.
Your plants are tougher than you think. I have had plants in flower survive temps in the mid 20s with no damage. Most can take low 30s for a few hours with no ill effects provided they are dry.

You’re in Alberta Bro… you’re not getting away from the horrible five that easy!
The cold slows them down, and that’s the time to “pounce”.
Doctor Doom formula420 is your friend! ( I was sceptical at first too!) But in the same fight you battle, something had to give for me as well. In honesty, it’s helped HUGE!..?

Hey @UncleB thank you for the kind words. I definitely plan to enjoy the results of my hard work. I'll also be sharing with friends and family.

I got some @Photon Pharms autos that I am curious to try out next time.

Thank you for the recommandations!! COPAs Project 25 looks interesting.

Any and all recommendations from fellow Phenohunters would be welcomed.
