How’s she smelling? Am I seeing thrips?

To my complete surprise.... kind of like an apple sundae lol. It's not in your face apple, and to be honest if I wasn't looking for apple terps I might of called it something else but it's definitely apple like, and then it's just sweet beyond that...

And yes. Yes you are seeing thrips. I think Im starting to get them under control but they were awful this time and the spino hasn't been as effective. Got some plant therapy coming in the mail though...

Glad to hear it has some apple terps. I have a few that I want to pop as well.
Plant Therapy is some good shit. It helped me battle aphids my last round and I cycled it with Dr Zymes

Nematodes for the soil help too. They prey on the instar stage of the thrips in the soil.

Word. I may have to give those a try too. I've had thrips on and off for a while now but they've been easily wiped out during veg and then I usually don't see them in flower... this time they've been far more persistent. Weirdly they're really only affecting the girls in coco even though they're right next too each other in the same tent

@GthaEnigma I just did the same Google search lol. Yeah, it's bizarre. Fortunately thrips are mostly just annoying. They aren't really affecting the rate of growth or yield or anything at the moment. I'll get them knocked out soon I'm sure. I like the idea of the nematodes... I was gone grab some more DE but I hate that stuff. Gets everywhere and forces you to sub irrigate everything otherwise it gets all caked up. The Nematodes seem much cleaner and simpler

Getting ready to flower out this WiFi...

She's kind of a hedge right now so we had to do some training...

Even ol William Riker is impressed with the spread in this gal...

Finally getting a chance to really test out these LST clips...

Which, by the way, sorry I haven't gotten yours in the mail yet @MO_Grow ... things have been pretty hectic, I haven't even made it to my buddies house to grab them yet

Well if there was a silver lining to my timer fiasco is that it got me refocused on the practical side of gardening... I got a little on autopilot for a bit there, a little lost in the clouds....

I'm flowering out the Chem Sis mom. There's a cut in the dome but if she doesn't take I don't care. I really can't keep all these "elite" cuts and hunt my own. I just don't have space. The Hippy Slayer is really the only one I definitely don't want to lose. I'm gonna BX the MSS still to keep it around but afterwards that's done too. Still have to see how the Alien OG does to decide if it will stick around...

As usual I just got overly ambitious. You may notice that trend in these parts lol. That's why plans change so quickly.

There's too many things I want to run from seed. Too many strains I want to hunt through and find my own keepers.

This week's influx of seeds, both purchased and shared from the members here really drove that point home.

I find my little spreadsheet helps tame my worst instincts. If I get the urge to pop something new today, for example, I can look and see the absolute earliest there will be room in the flowering tent is around the end of July. "Okay fine", I pout to myself "no new beans today......... Maybe tomorrow?"

It does get so frustrating though, seeing all the goodness in the Vault and wanting to grow it all right fucking now.

Yeah, that would probably be helpful. Really I have a pretty good feel for when I can drop more beans usually. What threw me off was all these cuts I was trying to keep. Also my inability to clone reliably, because I wound up letting the moms get way too big waiting for back ups to root. It got me all backed up... that's why I decided to let some of these go. It was fun to check all these out but I should really only be keeping like 2-3 moms at a time, not 6-7

I'm going through something similar. I had about 4 or 5 moms and have been taking cuts of everything new, just in case, and am up to 8 moms with more cuts about to root.
I just moved my Purple Kush mom to the windowsill today and am almost hoping for some of the F1's or polys to be male so I can do some more culling. If my buddy doesn't want the PK tomorrow, I'll just chop her.
----------------------
I'd be lost without my record keeping. With a perpetual grow with up to 7+ grow spaces going at once(veg, flower, moms, clones, males... it adds up in a hurry) my old brain is not capable of keeping track of it all.
I just took a quick partial screenshot. It's nothing fancy, just few simple formulas. There are also sections for moms and cuts, and a page for the Vault and one for all my previous plants for the last ~4 years.
