Kokusho #3 dropped exactly two seeds while I was trimming it up, and I have no idea who dad is, so I planted them!

@Phylex just had a chance to sample Kokusho #2 and she's definitely earned another run. The strawberry and coffee terps carry through into the flavor and hold for most of the joint. She didn't start to change to that acrid resin taste until I was almost finished. The high is really nice. More on the cerebral side, which is perfect for the moment since I still have a lot of work to do in the tents tonight after neglecting them for a couple days. And quite potent to boot!

Alright, so GMO #7 BX1 came down last night. She was actually further along than I realized which was good. Should've checked trichs sooner but she just didn't look close and got stuck at the back of the tent. Great yielder with some lovely garlic terps but as you can see she wasn't a fan of my growing methods. She's a little haggard. Really high leaf to calyx ratio too. I hate drying when there's dead leaves in the bud, I always worry it will lead to bud rot, so I was up until 2am last night snipping every single brown leaf out of her. Yuck.

I think she'll be some nice smoke but all these seeds I made are probably just going into the doomsday vault. I may give her a shot outdoors, I think she'd do better with more space for her roots, or maybe even with blumats and constant fertigation. Girl was just always hungry. I'll have to see how the smoke is.

It's basically the Hunger Games for weed plants over here these days... and I've decided I'm just rolling with it. Only the strong survive in the Gentleman's Garden. We've got absurdly cold tents, flipped breakers, seedlings just dying or getting broken in half by my big clumsy hands. I somehow forgot to put my WiFi 43 clone back under the light somehow and killed it....got more going already though.

Really it all circles back to that whole cold tents thing. I can only run a space heater on one outlet that has a dedicated breaker separate from the lights, which means I can't heat the other room without wiring in another dedicated outlet and I just don't have the motivation. So we're powering through it.

What i found really useful

Get some buckets...cut the bottoms off and make it like a hoop....put your hash bags on that hoop and you can stack them in the bucket !....Then as you get your hash you can pull the bag taut and get the hash easier (use a spray bottle to collect it at a spot on the bag and spoon it). I use 2 or 3....1 for a 25....maybe put a 73 on top but at different heights...then the next lid has a 120 or 160 depending on how the first pass goes and i use a 220 catcher.

Hydrate the buds...more than you think ! Mine are in the freezer....i make 2 bottles of RO water (5 gallons) put them in the garage to get them cold... and get ice.

then start making hash. Like 1 hour SOAK in frozen ice cold water 30 % ice 70% water roughly...it will melt a bit to get you to a 50 50 or so slurry.

Strains are different...some are GIVERS ... Texturally it will be anything. I have had it come out gooey after drying...so elastic you had to pull it like making a glass bong and break a piece off...or sand like....or every consistency possible...every aroma possible.

If you can keep them separated you will be delighted...especially if you can make some temple balls...and store a couple away for at least 60 days and don't touch it.....then you will realize the wonders of hash.

Frenchie sounds like Quebec....I think its funny people have trouble with his Jacques Cousteau tones... He should call a hash the octopus !

The video is worth watching...more than once too. And fire up a giant frenchie hash doob....i usually roll my hash with weed but this morning i will grab one of my wifes smokes and kick it frenchie style.

The Dank Duchess is fun to watch too...i think she uses way too many papers to make a big doob... I can fit 3 grams in a king size or a 1 1/2

But the Dutchess can sure make some hash....and she has great videos about proper use of kief trays which is not just ramming buds through screens...you can make quality hash if you do that right too.
