Ran into some snafu’s today. Was going to run wire and my damn drill bit broke. Have to lower the ceiling in the veg room to clear pipe, but I’m two 2x4’s short. AANNNDDDDD all this happened about a half hour AFTER the local lumber yard closed??‍♂️
I’m hoping to hit it hard tomorrow.

Decided I'm going with something from @Schwaggy P for the competition. How's it going to work? Can I pop a few of 2 strains and pick one? How many beans can be used to make a selection? Ideally I want to run 5 seeds of two strains and use one for comp and grow rest out simultaneously. Should have flower room empty after a solid veg from 4/20. Looks to be lining up correctly anyway. Did we decide how long this goes? 4/20 to August 31 is 19 weeks. Is that about right?

Being this is the pheno hunt contest, growers choice. Pop as many as you want, but you can only choose one actual entrant.
Find your special pHeno. Lol.
Its 4-20 as the start, and more like September or October 20th being the end date. Total 5-6 month timeframe.
Gives a month to get the beans up and growing, a good 1-2 month veg time, and a good 2-3 month flower time. Leaving in extra time for late starters, and or long flower strains.
Debating if I wanna do a monster for this one. Lol.
No experimental soil test this time. Lmfao.
Maybe a 25 gal Grow?
That may get obscene though. Lmfao.

Oh, I see you're looking to grow monsters for this comp. Pheno monster challenge. Holy shit, potential 3 months from Seed before flip. I cant imagine how massive these plants are going to be. Ive never vegged anywhere near that long. Will be interesting. May have to rethink my seed choice and look for some kind of showstopper in the collection.

Doesn't have to be a monster. Lol, it's just something I've been thinking of doing just to do it. Haven't done a monster in awhile. Hehe.

With the timeframe allowances it's more to allow flexibility to each grower. So they can scrog, or train, or whatever their methods are.
Also too with the timeframe being longer it equalizes things between soil and hydro growers.
From when I drop a seed in soil I almost always have a good 8 to 9 weeks before I flip.
Sometimes longer. Lol. Alot depends on when bloom room vacancy opens up. Lmfao.

fuck I forgot.... and just dropped 32 beans a few days ago..... they all just went into solo cups today........

Man I may have to think about this.....

maybe 2 beans 1 keeper.............
