I like the way you are doing the transplants into the 7 gal containers. I have to wonder if there is any hobbies out there that has as many variables as this one has. Must be more than a thousand ways to get from point A to point B
. Witch also makes it difficult for new growers to comprehend . Just out of curiosity how long are you vegging in the i gallon pots? Also do you do anything to the root ball before lowering in the new pot? Nice work!
That little trick with an old one gallon to give you the right size hole is PURE GOLD lol, makes trans so much easier on both of us. Plants barely notice it so I dont gotta worry about shock & it only takes me 5 seconds to drop it in the hole from outta the one gallon... Growing is kinda like life, choose your path & deal with the consequences good or bad it's all on you... except power failures thats not your fault... unless you dont pay the bill lol.
Learning can be a bitch too, I found someone I could trust who was producing good product & basically just said, "let's do a grow at my house & I'll split it with you if you teach me how to do everything like you do, then you can sell it all to your homies & just tax me a lil as payment for your time" and that worked out for a while because he needed more grow space & product & I was killing it... up until he got greedy & expected 25% of all my harvests even tho I started doing everything without his help... moral of the story is learn your basic shit to get you started & handling things on your own from one person (no conflicting info from multiple sources) & once you have a few grows under your belt you'll feel more comfortable about making minor or major changes to suit your grows needs for you.
I think I got into the one gallons early feb. So maybe 2 months. The last few weeks I've been waiting on clones to show sex, if I knew what all I had I would have been in bigger pots much sooner. I just drop em in & put a lil dirt over the top.
