Well, hell, I'll give em my all, and then some, if that's cool?
How many are there? I'd be up for splitting them with someone else who wanted to run them, give them a second environment and chance.
If there's only a few though, I could give them all a shot, if it's only like a packs worth, and nobody wants to split em.
Whatever's preferred. I just wanna see what they're hiding...
...Same with a bunch of that other stuff, including that Colombian Black you just ordered.
Come on folks, let's see what made these classics classic!

There are currently 12 seeds in the AITR pack. Popping them all is required to maintain the largest genetic diversity possible during preservation. That goes for any of the preservation runs really. If you are interested shoot me your contact information in a PM, and we can get them out to you. We just ask that you document the preservation, and if anyone is running beans from a preservation, please document in the pHenohunting sub forum. This way we can collect and analyze data for certain cultivars across multiple cultivators.

Any questions, please reach out!

I'm coming after that Colombian Black, if all works out with the AITRs...

... And I'm kinda bummed I missed the opportunity for the Skunk 1 repros to be shipped with the AITRs... Missed it by thaaaat much lol

I've got a few of Bodhi's Dread Bread, and Mango Hashplant left too.
If someone runs the Mango Biche, I might be able to offer a few beans for comparison. .. Or cuts, if I've grown then out by then.
Both those Bodhi strains use Mango Biche as the mother. The father of Dread Bread is Old Mother Ghani. The father of Mango Hashplant is 88G13HP.

Some of the first preservation beans heading out to be hunted! Feels really awesome seeing these starting to get into people's hands. Please remember to journal the phenohunt if possible!

Note:. There may be few immature in each pack. I just filled em up! Hope that's ok. Had kids running around and had to be quick!

Ok, Q&A time.
For these preservation runs, my little brain has been ticking along and wondering about age of plant versus seed production.
Our plants let us know there sex about 4 weeks in.
But our plants aren't really "adult" plants until around 8+ weeks, due to the fact that they normally would be grown outside.
So,,,, if we flip our preservation run at week 4 or 5 are we going to be missing anything in the genetics that may not have had a chance to fully develope?

I run all of my indoor grows a minimum of 7 weeks veg, sometimes 8 or 9.
I do know veg length dramatically changes yeilds.

Very interesting question. I'm curious now too.

That's an interesting question indeed. DNA is precoded in all organisms so I feel like it's unlikely we would lose anything. What's possible is that you would add something, like an earlier flowering time. This is back to the epigenetics conversation we were having somewhere else on the site. The question is, can DNA be changed through outside influences, in turn affecting the genes passed to the offspring. But it's still all theoretical, and I don't think you can remove triggers from DNA so I wouldn't be worried about reducing genetic diversity by flowering earlier.

I think, this is me thinking lol, that not allowing enough veg time will always lean towards early maturing offspring. Even if we get all the other genes.
If I had the space I'd set up an experiment to test it out lol. Personally I don't think it would. It's still the light cycle inducing flowering not an internal clock so my hypothesis would be that it doesn't alter the genomes in any meaningful way. If it did, all the people breeding under 12/12 from seed would be producing a ton of early flowering seed stock and I haven't seen that happen.

Damn I was just watching something about nurture(human influence) & nature(environmental influence) having an impact on our evolution as a species & now I cant think of what it was.... might have been a doctor lady on that there dango Joe Rogan interweb tube program.
