Haze

(Colombian x Mexican) X (Indian x Thai)

So my somewhat thinking on subs for this is from a landrace perspective, which can be built post preservation/pheno runs.
(Mango Biche x Columbian Red) x (Kerala x (Highland Thai or Highland Lao))
I've read some variations on what the Haze origins are. I'd like to hear bropHessor @Schwaggy P 's findings on this.

In Bloom
I'll start by saying I'm just a Newb, literally been growing less that a year.
I have a friend that is much more knowledgeable and travels in a much more experienced circle of growers.
He was kind enough to gift me a clone of a strain, which he has recently acquired, that we are calling 1968.
That is because, as my friend worded it, "this old hippie has been growing this same strain since 1968."
When I asked the name of the strain, I was told, "they really didn't have names back then like they do today."
I attempted to get as much information as I could about it, but I respect the man's privacy, and am just thankful for the opportunity to grow this genetic.
As I understand it, when most men were being sent to Vietnam, he was sent to 'the middle east', and this is what he came home with.
The grower has kept this strain pure for 52 years, you gotta respect that.
I just thought I would mention it here while I was reading about the preservation of the 'old school strains'.
Cheers,
WillieP

its the nostalgia that really gets my wheels turning, even more so then the prospect of a killer high... I have to wonder now though... 1968... that would be the year after the 6 Day War... If it came as a product of a deployment to that part of the world, a number places come to mind that were a part of that conflict that are quite famous for making hash... Besides the stated obvious, you could have something really special there bro...

I have some good mexican from Puerto Varllarta jungle are and 3 other insane Mexican that will melt your face and forget how to order food. I also have some Viennese Da lat it grows huge in nature and has stems bigger around than a coffee pot. I have a lot of Australian bastard cannabis seeds coming in from Indo Pacific area. I have friends who are live coral collectors and are big stoners who are helping me get the best genetics around them and I have helped them enough in the past during multiple coral reef restoration projects and collecting rare species of coral and invertebrates. I have a lot of land race stuff, and pure indicas like pine tar kush and old genetics that are rare or they are just retired strains from Amsterdam, and the south .Just let me know how i can help. I can donate some free and trade for some as well
