Side note: the last time I used GH Rapid Rooters, they were much more uniform in shape and size (vs Root Riot). I only got them in bags, this is the first time in a starter pack with tray (my old tray needed replacing). They'll end up in medium anyway, but I found this particular batch easier to "rip and crumble" when handled. Next time I re-up, if I get them from the hydro store, I'll be looking in the bags.

4 of each straight into soil
- @Schwaggy P - Chem Kesey #9 x ‘79 Christmas Tree Bud
- Bodhi Strawberry Unicorn (Strawberry Milk x puf3)
- Empire Builder soil

Planted in alternating pots to see if it makes a difference based on sun ☀️ I’ll probably move em around based on what I see. Let’s see what they can do.

2 weeks ago, struggling seedlings which were in a rooter tray way too long, were at most an inch tall and drooping (sorry didn’t get any pics). Got them in the F&D totes and under some Kingbrite LED bars

1 week later:

Another week later (today) freshly topped:

The resiliency of this plant and the speed of hydro never ceases to amaze me.

E3E566D0-5A67-4E5E-8A92-5E8E8E293921.jpeg Nose Candy. Tallest of the bunch.

BE510C94-618F-40FA-8F87-9EE06D77FC73.jpeg Bringing back the oldskool w this Trainwreck which is way bigger than everything around it.

Everything is stankin’ like crazy already. Glad I’ve got two AC Infinity fans and carbon filters (cheap Vivosun, they were on sale a year ago) running. The dilemma here is the rising heat as we head towards summer. Even w LED the tent can crack upper 90s at times. Flip around a week or less. Let’s see just how resilient this plant can be.

Looking good as usual Spy! Glad to see you back at it again. Inspirational for me to get past some of my personal crap and get back on the saddle. Looking forward to watching your grow brother ??✌?☕️

Fantastico!!! Train wreck is an old fave of mine, had that good mojo for me. Lol.
Used to get some Train wreck here from some mountain hippy before it went legal, haven't found a good comparison since then. Lol.
That dude had the real deal cut for sure. ???

It’s been a minute since I’ve had Trainwreck. Such a great sativa high. I believe the Arcata cut from Humboldt was the straight kill. Let’s see how these do.

Dude!
Been meaning to stop by and say,
Dude ! ?

Really stoked to see youre back in the green saddle. There could be some fresh faced young'ns round here havent never seen the Spy show before.
Jewels my man thanks for rolling through these parts. I’ve had to scale down a bit but you can still see how I’m a glutton for punishment lol.

I know you like seeing the different nuances of this plant so here are a couple of gratuitous pics just for you:

I think I really done pissed off that Nose Candy in the upper left corner after topping. Her sisters and close neighbors are cruising along, just bushing out and covering the hydroton while she is stretching hard. Position in the tote, more light, stronger plant? ?‍♂️

Then on the other side of the tent this Nila Wafer is doing the same thing albeit in her own fashion. Note she is in a corner as well. Also of note is that the plants in this tote aren’t as green down below. Nitrogen? Every tote gets the same feed. I don’t have any nitrogen specific nute on hand so let’s see how they do after flip.

GG4 clone put into the ground next to a creek around end of Feb/early March. I posted about this in another thread about early flowering outdoors. No signs of reveg so far. It already has taco leaves and some frost rails. Love the rose swirl buds coming through. It’s looking like a few weeks away from harvest but who knows? Let it go full season and see what happens, or harvest and leave a few lowers?

F4B2126E-C0AD-4CD3-84D9-BD95DCC504EE.jpeg Not sure what this one is but it’s also another clone right next to the GG4. Both get the same amount of sun which is plenty, not too much shade. It’s flowering as well.

Not sure.
If I get a plant dry enough between waterings she will flash me the 'yellow card'
Not sure that applies here. I think Fluvic and perhaps B12 make a plant more drought-proof.

I wouldn't have noticed , if you had not mentioned.

I will leave you with a gem.

Why does gravity put me directly on my ass, when everything else goes sideways???
