Can’t tell sex yet unless anyone has some tips. Topped once. About halfway up the height of the wall and I don’t want it to get over that height for sure. May need to top again.
Friggin love em, outdoors is fun. ???
Any good stink yet from any of em?
I fully agree with you, I'm thinking they need a haircut, a chop off the top, they're getting unruly on you, put em in their places. ???
Imho top all of those nodes mang, and double up on the colas. ✂️✂️✂️???
Myself if I was staying below fence line I'd chop the high points down a ways to form an even low canopy. That and or tie them down with some LST.
Just my two cents. Lol

I think you’re right. This extra sun and good breeze has turbo charged them. Yes I’m already getting stank and I figure about 2.5-3 months will be chop time. I still haven’t figured out if they’re girls yet lol

And yea man outdoors is fun. I’m just puttzin around out there smokin a j while watering and don’t have to pay for electricity. Manual watering kinda sucks but it’s worth it for the different experience.

Outdoors will go bonkers on you quick. Lol.
And you'll love it. ???
I really enjoyed my outdoor watering times, no care about the water mess if you miss. Lol
Just like you do, smoking a fat J and playing with the hose, good times. ???
Take some pics of their privates, we'll all help you decide who's who. ??????
Like where's the hard core plant porn, you're only giving us softcore here mang. Dontcha know we're all plantophiles here?
??????
I was always scoping them out mid August before they gave me the great reveal of who's who. Your likely about the same time frame by the sun's plan. Another month to go imho.

Ya I’ll get some closeups in a while. By eyeball I can’t see shit. I still do manual watering w hydro indoors but I have a res w a hose n it’s a quick fill for the next res w the pumps n such. The totes help a lot cuz I don’t have to water everyday. Easy measurements that are more precise. However outdoors I don’t pH I add nutes by mixed jugs every other few days or so to let em soak in then just hose water. Seems to be working good. These plants are pretty resilient. Two different styles of growing for sure.

It sure is two different animals. ???
Imho youve either got an easy guarantee of bugs, but it's relatively easy to treat outdoors. Or your inside, where your better insulated from pests, but dang it can be a bitch to eradicate them basterds. Lol.

A lot of us have used these. I felt a proper review after some major trimming over the next few weeks would be appropriate.

I have some original chikamasas but the hydro store was out. These curved ones should fit the rotation just fine and I’ll review them too

For those of you that have used curved blades - how are you utilizing the curved part? Let’s say you’re right handed do they curve left or right when you’re trimming? Do they hug the bud or curve away from the bud? I’ve tried both ways, would love to hear your opinion.

For the trimmers I use them all the ways you describe lol. Basically however I need to to quickly snip leaves and avoid taking off any more than necessary. Just depends on the bud shape.

And trim bin... I just love the trim bin lol. For whatever reason I just love dry sift hash the mostest

It just feels weird to me having em hug the bud but it will try that out more this round. I definitely am sold on the chikamasa style. Nothing wrong w the spring loaded Fiskar style. But after years of using em and discovering the chikamagic it’ll be hard to convince me to go back.

I finally got a pair of the Chikamasa and yeah, I'm sold as well

- how are you utilizing the curved part?
As they appear in photo ,,,
Digits would pass through the back. Fingers on ruler. Thumb on decal.

Fulcrums are left or right handed. Used in reverse, the cutting surface is forced apart.

Like when you decapitate someone with two swords ,,,you want those blades grinding together for one clean cut. Any Gap in the blades and you're actually just cutting the head off twice.

I user those exact scissors ( have prolly 5+ pairs)

use a trim bin + headmounted magnifier (2-3x) + those green scissors and keep the bud in trim storage on a stem so you never touch the bugs through whole trim cycle/process.

some trimmers like scissors with stems or not curved. I love the angled blade Japan scissors. key with a magnifier you can go under every leaf and never cut trichome heads and less damage to crystals ( curved makes it a lil easier). you'd be surprised how many buds u look under a scope they def damage the most valuable part of the bud/flower.

awesome grow, keep it up!
