Alright @spyralout , I know you said no kayaks so how about this for next summer.
Terp Float 2022

And grab @JL2G and a few others on your way lol
Holy shit that’s like Reggae on the River around these parts. We have waterproof Bluetooth speakers now and a shit ton of smoke. It would be fkn awesome but we’ll have to see where I’m at w recovery. Having my share of ups n downs lately ? hopefully more ups will come soon. Good lookin out my friend.
That would be a possible venue for the 2023 pHenohunter pHamily pHicknick.
Yes it would! I can’t even imagine the amount of variety we’d have amongst ppl, food, dank, dogs, etc…whether there or Antarctica it has to happen one day ?

Did all the batter get mixed properly with the proper ingredients and ratios for it not to express one type of leaf type? What a turnaround tho

It really is a trippy mix of leaves!!
Looks super healthy, too.
Definitely our mascot plant for the year...?

Thanks for the update @spyralout
Not to be pushy, but I'm anticipating an epic smoke report on down the line ????

“The Ugly Duckling” turned out to be a beautiful swan ?. My Mom and I’s favorite plant. I’m so glad that I kept her. So far I’ve had nothing but good things happen when I’ve kept mutants, and this beauty has been the best one by far.

Chopped on the morning of Halloween right before it started raining, which was very welcome, as we don’t get much rain around here.

@UncleB I can’t wait until it’s time to sample a nug, she smells amazing. A proper smoke report is definitely coming but will likely be later down the line.

It’s been unusually chilly sooner this year. Full plant hang dry out on the back patio w tarps and rollup shades around the perimeter w plenty of airflow for the entire harvest. I anticipate the dry time will be much slower than when I used to dry indoors, but I no longer have that luxury especially w the amount harvested. I only got about 50% of what could’ve been yielded, due to the greenhouse learning curve and other factors, but it’s still quite a bit. Hopefully nobody in my circle will need to buy anything for a good minute.

I’d like to make RSO for some ailing friends that need the medicinal properties of the whole plant. If anybody knows of a good write up please let me know.

What a great way to start the cold season. Hopefully things won’t get screwy and mold up or whatever. More rain is expected next week. Any tips on outdoor drying would be greatly appreciated. I know there’s a thread here about properly drying and curing, but not sure if it encompasses the type of situation I’m in.

My only thoughts on your dry situation would be to do whatever it takes to keep air movement. Maybe setting them up in something that can be turned Into a sort of wind tunnel. I think your biggest enemy from here on is bud rot, so I'd be working to combat the hardest.

This is all from my 0 experience growing outdoors.

Best of luck!

Thanks Dino. It is kind of a wind tunnel the way it’s set up. I may even put a fan blowing through the bottom. Behind my cinder block wall is a relatively wide street so there’s a wind tunnel of sorts back there as well. Yea the mold and bud rot is what I’m so fearful of. Had to toss a few big chunky tops just harvesting from the greenhouse alone.

As long as the air moves and you keep it below the dew point you’re golden, in my limited experience.

Edit: that plant is beautiful

Man @spyralout - the Mutant turned out amazing!! Had a hunch, but no way of envisioning that frosty marvel!!

Can definitely see why is became a darling to you and your mother.

I picked up a pack of that Black & Blueberry earlier this year, and will definitely enjoy reading your report down the line.

No experience w/ the RSO, but remember watching the Phoenix Tears movie of him boiling that stuff in naptha....lol! I'm sure a lot has evolved, and there's going to be some good info showing up soon.

So glad you're still with us, and enjoying the harvest season. What a year!!!

Ended up moving em in the garage, a bit warmer in there. I intend on putting a fan and probably a carbon filter or two lol. Thanks for the kind words, unbelievable seeing how she turned out and watching it all unfold. Nature is beautiful.

Thank YOU for your generosity and giving me the opportunity to run one of your creations. Lotta ppl love your work, and now I’m one of em. Definitely one of the most fun plants I’ve grown, what a champ! She even survived a couple of budworms. Plant Therapy and Capt Jacks took care of those bastards. I now have a new enemy besides spider mites. Thankfully none of those showed up. Whiteflies did show up in the greenhouse but not too bad. Smth to note, she did not get affected by em.
LMAOOOOO ? ? ? thoughts are racing through my mind if this is an attempt to out out a fire ? or … ?????

Yes, yes, and yes! She outperformed her bigger sister who stayed her entire life in the GH. The duckling started off in the GH but was being bullied by the general population that was fighting for the canopy. She got moved outside, to a table for a bit, changed her shoes, then it was off to the races to score the touchdown. Now for the two point conversion, the dry n cure.

It has been quite the year. If it wasn’t for my family and friends, I wouldn’t be here sharing my journey w y’all. Everyone’s compassion and genuine support has been absolutely awe inspiring.
Much love to you all ? :phenohunt:

I am in the kitchen
I am making pancakes
Every time that scoop hits the bin
My mind retraces the steps
From the grocer, to the warehouse, to the mill, the train, the co-op, the farm, the bin, the auger, the combine
golden-wheat-stalks-g2-dan-yeger.jpg

It was a single blade of grass
and without it
we would dry up and blow away

So many hands
So much care
All for that one moment
