The VW of grow rooms

Someone one told me “A year from now, you will wish you started today”. I can see already from the warm welcome, that I should have started here many years ago, and I’d like to know who gets credit for inventing the troll filter?
A journal was suggested, and I try not to lay aside good advice. As I’m here for community and constructive criticism, here it goes.
Basics now are soil, jacks+misc, HLG 350R over approx 2x4. Pics are about day 36 of 12/12. Yep, looking nice in there. Appears to be a tight little set up. 350R? Niiice.

Not sure what your ventilation set up is but maybe raise your RH if possible?.. Are you familiar with vapor pressure deficit or VPD for short? It can make the difference between happy looking plants or the ones that look like you're feeding them steroids.

You're killing it for a 2x4. Jacks, HLG, drain to waste. You got all the ingredients my man.

I love seeing small gardens knock it out of the park. Well done.

Friggin beauty plants mang. Awesome to see ya start up a journal and show them ladies off.
We're all about community here, growing weed, and chatting about it. Lol. The community itself does alot of its own troll filtering, and a fantastic job of it imho. Then there's us mods too, that just wanna grow weed with other weed growin folks too. Happy to hear your liking it here.

Lovely canopy managment. What are you growing? I will definitely be popping in from time to time.
Left to right- 2 brisco orgi fems, a 707 clone from last run, a brisco county line gem and a bobs Chernobyl(slymer ). The BCL and Chernobyl got a week shorter veg and all less than ideal conditions in veg. My apologies to bob, I unintentionally abused his worse than the rest.

Exactly the type of feedback I’m here for. Thank you my friend, for pointing out what you see. I do chase VPD some, but try not stress. Per the thread title, I’m constantly tweaking and adjusting to maintain best possible parameters within reason, I am pretty hands on. I’d have a state of the art facility if I’d initially invested once in higher end equipment and not all the “learning experiences “ I paid for over the years.

Much appreciated. Sounds like I found the right place finally. I don’t really feel whole unless I’m growing I’ve discovered and in hard times, growing has kept me going-

Nothing to stress about in your garden, you're in there like swimwear Bud.

Keep us updated, Gonna be a JUNGLE in there!

Thanks, over-think is maybe a better word than stress-I agree, the garden is where I go to de-stress.
I feel like I’m ready for that next step in understanding. So many nuances-many of you already play like Mozart while I’m depending on auto-tune, lol. I’m at the point I want to understand more of why I’m doing what I’m doing and not just blindly following instructions. Trying to interpret subjective vocabulary has been difficult as applies to gardening for me and making god choices. If anyone has baked bread, imagine kneeling dough for bread successfully with only written instructions.
If by JUNGLE, you see problem, feel free to speak up. I’ve been eyeing and considering thinning middles some, but increased air movement in the time being. Also wondering if anyone thinks the BCL, back right, is “too green”.

Do you grow 12/12 from seed on the regular or do you some 18/6 at first?

Orgi got about 5 wk 18/6, BCL and CH about 4 from seed, and were honestly not quite ready. The orgi were alternating nodes. I intended to go a little longer but sometimes things happen. They all had a bit of a slow start, with temps a little low, and a couple other minor glitches. I’m also beginning to reevaluate my timing, pretty sure I’ve been shorting things in the past. My train of thought is nuances, if I’m beginning to understand correctly-like the difference between time in “12/12” vs “time flowering “??, just apply that to germ vs veg?.
My last run things got away from me height wise and this time I was trying to keep things more compact. My only real complaint is the time between some lessons results on the learning curve.

12/12 atleast in my definition is just the on/off cycle of light. 18/6 is conventionally used for veg time but 12/12 is completely valid for veg and flower. In fact I'm exclusively 12/12. 12/12 from seed can help most of the time with overall height but its strain and pheno dependent. Some phenos will stay super short and flower insanely fast. Others will be average in height and some will just be growth beasts no matter what you do lol.

Here is a great example of a super short super fast Meltdown pheno in 12/12. She is a total powerhouse but like mabye 12 inches tall.

Here is the same Meltdown strain right next to her but this pheno is of more average height. Both popped at the same time.

That garden is gonna have some fire in it soon! This forum is like having access inside the castle while all the troublemakers and shit stirrers hang out on the streets. Enjoy yourself and dont hesitate to ask questions!
Much appreciated, questions and clarifications I have in surplus. Once I get my sea legs here, I’ll find the appropriate venue if this doesn’t seem the place. Much of what struggle with is all the conflicting info over the years(decades).
I’m pretty happy with how things have recovered. Everyone feel free to point out what they feel is relevant. I’m more concerned with the truth than being right, and the truth only hurts when the ego interferes.

Interesting, I had something similar happen unintentionally with clones. Never considered trying it from seed. I’m kind of intrigued. How did you come to follow this practice?
