A+ quality build light, same with their costumer service and how they treat the costumer and their shipping actions ( best ) . On my 10th light and own 3 different models and they all are remarkable for quality and end results .

a brand worth mentioning in my opinion and i will continue to pick them as my #1 ;)

3k ;)

I have 7/10 of my timbers with pure 3k and 3/10 timbers running all 3k but one 1750 in most middle spot of the model. Pure 3k for your money and over all results I saw in that if you want that spectrum I would suggest just getting a additional strip vs losing the better cob map

if you want the most fully cycle spectrum = 3500k
best flower spectrum = 3k

good example:4K vs 3k compare ( quality of chip/led is the biggest factor and coverage )

I have been eyeballing the Cypress line as an option to replace an ol' HPS. Specifically the 6 for a 4x4. These look slick. Stats from the site below, looking for more reviews of it.
I have DIY'd from Rapid LED, Chilled Logic, and a few others, was thinking another DIY, but this caught my eye.

The Cypress 6 features a sturdy all-aluminum, 6-bar design utilizing 864 individual Samsung diodes to produce high PPFD at close canopy operation without adverse plant effects. The light-bar design and placement of the diodes gives the Cypress 6 exceptionally uniform PPF output over a 4'x4' coverage area at operating heights as low as 6" above the canopy. The Cypress 6 will cover a 4'x4' area for full cycle/flowering at 6-12" above canopy and will veg up to a 6'x6' area at 24-36" above canopy. It draws 540 watts at the wall and runs on 120, 240 and 277 VAC.

COVERAGE AREA:

16 Square Feet at 6-24" inches above canopy
PPFD: 845 μmol/m²/s

POWER (120-277 VAC):

Total Wattage: 540W (~4.5A @ 120V; ~2.3A @ 240V)
PPF: 1260 μmol/s
PPE: 2.3 µmol/J

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Fixture Dimensions: 45 x 41 x 4 (in)
Weight: 22 (lb)
Power Cord Length: 6 Feet
Mounting Hardware: Ratchet Straps (adjustable)
Dimmable: 10-100% Output

I've been buying knockoffs and doing diy for a minute after spending too much on an early HLG RSpec whatever, the big red one.

I'd actually be happy to pay $900 for a build like this, seems like a pretty thoughtful design and the fit and finish appears to be better than most products in this range.

I thought about getting (2) The Cypress 6 Vs cob for most most current additional of a 4x8 area . They are look sexy and perfect ppfd in a square and guaranteed . Timbers beats it for whatcha want and has many combos . key vs for example fluence spydrx plus vs timber . Spydrx made everything good quality looking (80-90%) and metal from their ballast in integration and nice metal lights but their con is 6-8 inches ( head hitter) and every part holding the lights and making it moveable is made of cheap and easily damaging plastic. I have not only lost a few black plastic light holders by just losing the light nad moving it and the “ it fell off” or I find a plastic when I’m drenching. I even purchased for extra 100 bucks for 5 years vs w standard and in the start the support for the fluence they were good and also willing to send replacement plastics . well I explained “ that’s a major flaw for in your grow, how about send me a few extras cause it’s gonnea happen again”, they sent me exact with me proving lose i n pictures. well a few months later I had plastic 5o% broken (2-4) and lost a few, it’s a horrible design .... the rep said he would do it and then he then recalled me 2-e days later from the conversation and told me on voicemail they woi;don’t send me plastic piece to fix my light. I recalled and asked if I pay a extra 100 bucks each light and you guys won’t even warranty bad part design and not willing to forfill this? They said dispute it and they were weren’t willing to fix my light even after I said if you leave it this way it could damage the light and that’s way more than I wonder how much per unit it cost for those plastic? The shipping cost the most.....

timber every time I contacted them even when I bamboo killed one of my lights on mistake ( I lifted for my foliar than dropped the lights back down to close and since my flood table wasn’t in the exact spot it was suppose to be and the cob was burning Into it and I could smell it, that’s why I even knew a issue. Smoke and smell lol)

timber owner was on helping me to even know how to reinstall the cob, what things I would need to protect and also install lights correctly and also videos on how to do such. his costumer service even when it’s your fault . A+ every time and his company and quality of his products show the over all end results. I’m good with crappy plastic and bad service when you even payed more, actions speak than words ;)

ethier cob or s sung strip and highest quality metal and design = Timber is prime and my #1
