Its harder to maintain heat in decarb box when its fuller.
About 20 minutes in temp spikes. I think its when all the moisture is finally gone.
My oven runs pretty close, i set it to 350 preheat, then when i set box in drop to 270 and let rise to 220 then drop to 265 and let it rock.

Man this part is slow. I need a heating mantle with built in stirrer!
Then i could raise the heat and add a touch of vacum to do this fast.

Ok, 700ml in 525ml out. 175ml tincture with 55gms flower so,,,,, approximately 3ml would contain the extracts of 1 gm of flower (3.181 exactly).

I just consumed 30ml ( 1tbs ) or 10 gms of flower straight to the head!

Ok, yesterday I did my sample and think ive had better batchs but this one isnt slackin.
Got just enough ethanol off of it that it has that nice cannabis burn in the mouth when swished around well. Nice blast, makes me slober a little after i swallow it.
Then head and upper body peps up. Kinda reminds me of younger days, that flush feeling when that window pane kicked in!
And as long as i dont sit down nowhere almost turns into an amphetamine kinda buzz,, almost all day.
So two thumbs up from SD for tincture. Stoned down to my toes.

Got give it a try everybody!

That really is a great explanation of effects, slober and all. Ha. If u sit or lay down your legs and body become numb quick but if you stay active it really is a nice boost! I took a several mile hike up a mountain overlook last week after my morning dose. Good Times. Edit: included pic

I really like the onset or rush of the initial buzz, but the deal sealer for me is the up-beat buzz. Very functional with complete stealth.

30 ml is a whole bottle for me.............pretty sure I'd be dead if I did that in one shot, lol

Oh happy day. After Willie said hey man....if your close to the border i will throw one over for you....i found a spot in Calgary that sells 190 everclear. I have 2 fifths on the way.

And the price...with the shipping is cheaper than our ontario over regulated crap.

Win win i say.

The first time i tried my concoction i did a shot glass or 60ml. It wasnt distilled down so much ethanol, but after a couple hours i was "whacked"!
Next dose 30ml, it was a interesting experiance also but i found that i got used to it and thats the dose i use now little more, little less. Depending on strain.

I did forget to mention that after 4 or 5 hours you may notice the piss in the pot iis green from the concentrated chlorophyl lol.

Sounds like a great quest, im not sure the ethanol can hold that much or pull/hold that concentration.
Under distillation without vacum all the ethanol wont come off the oils either.

I think it will take more than that. Coconut oil can take it.

It is right now i KNOW why i am buying the DX tester. I am tired of this very thing. I know its better...in my heart.

I am pulling the trigger this week. Lets know what is better with actual testing.

Skunky's right with the numbers. I've tested it twice now, and 1/2 cup EC to 8 grams seems to work. I tossed some more EC on the spoil and I can see there is still some material left, not much but some.

You bring up the strength via evaporation.
