My favourite band now charging 800.
He's lost the plot Maynard. No more albums from them for me.....who am I kidding it's like seeds, I'll still buy more. But I'm determined to listen to every other cd in my collection before them now. Yeah that's right, cd not mp3 or iTunes or whatever technology nowadays. Just cds

I think that's the most expensive NIN album I know of lol.
I got this,,, but didnt pay that. ?

The " Social Network "
is hella pricey too.
I have never seen the movie; although the soundtrack on CD is excellent. I would love to have that on vinyl.

It's a pretty good movie and much like the game "Quake" from back in the day, Trent did the sounds.

I mean, that price is just for the autographed, numbered, "ultra deluxe" version, there's also a limited re-release that's 5 picture disc LPS that's $170, which is pretty typical. And when the album first came out its $30, just like most new vinyl. I've been seeing people are upset for the last couple days but come on, you don't need to buy the autographed version to listen to the music. That shits just for Uber fans.

The $800 version is certainly a shameless cash grab, but these guys make nothing off streaming and haven't been able to tour for two years, they need to get that cash flow going again. It's no different to me from the Rolling Stones charging $800 for concert tickets and shit like that. Last night I was at a Cannibal Corpse show and they wanted $100 for an autographed drum head. If I could sign random shit and charge people hundreds for it I'd do it in a heartbeat, so I can't really hold it against these guys.

The Adam Jones Gibson Les Pauls that retailed for $10k really chafed my ass.

An entire shipment of like 50 of them were stolen in some sort of truck heist, true story. Gibson had to crank out replacements to meet the pre-orders.

As a Bass player sometimes it's funny to tell those glorified metronome people 100 dollars is too much! But Cannibal Corpse does have a pretty sweet drummer. Though Alex Webster shines through in a way few metal bands do....

For example; System of a Down is a good band, and it took me like 15 minutes to play "Sugar" properly.

Hammer Smashed Face took weeks just to get the intro right...... and my forearms felt like I overdosed on Viagra and had my date cancel.... whole other level.

Mortician has a drum machine but their drummer died and they said they couldn't find anyone to do what that dude could do.

I guess it depends; I don't care that much what they're charging, but for 800 dollars I either cum or .... lol.

I also realize that I literally can't afford that so it's less of an issue for me; if I had 800 dollars to spend on whatever I wanted??? Honestly I'd be stocking up on seeds from you guys; our members here should have recognition for some of the amazing shit being done around here.
