Sorry for lack of updates folks, been busy as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest!
I’ve spent the whole week having plants separated and pollinating. All tora bora have been gold dusted and some extra pollen collected. I’ll take some pics this evening and show the progress. Hope everyone had a great weekend??✌?

After going through and reviewing the last update pics I realized that’s just not good enough. I need to up my picture taking game. Got a new iPhone back in October and I’m not impressed at all especially with the damn price tag. Anyways, I’m thinking I’ll be looking for something a bit more professional so the pics aren’t so blah. Here’s a few more I took this morning trying to show the seed pods all over these plants and I mean from head to toe.
Now it’s just wait for the finish and keep them healthy until done. Lots of beans ! 4EAB25C2-F600-4656-BC30-B2DDB5C897D1.jpeg 0CCDBA06-ED6F-44F3-A4AD-E566E0382474.jpeg 90C4289A-9D75-49F7-B5CF-57076D172AEC.jpeg F9AC91DB-575D-422B-BE89-B1CC8E5594B0.jpeg 7D1F768B-5F78-45D6-A5FF-5CF4BEB9B8BE.jpeg FDA8398C-90EF-490F-AFF4-6CD29E057A06.jpeg D11A82BA-EF95-4B4D-9F76-7531CF16C1BF.jpeg D7C9BAE1-9092-4579-83DA-E7E2CF3983D2.jpeg

Well, looks like I just wasn’t diligent enough and got some spunk on my not supposed to be seeded plants. Oh well, interesting crosses either way and I took cuts of the ones supposed to be sensi. Hats off to the breeders who do this on a regular. I need way more practice ?✌? The tora bora are what contaminated my other grow, these are pure just so it’s clear.

Here’s a quick picture drop of the tora bora seeded plants doing their thing. Had an issue with lockout that got resolved with a flush with mild nutrient solution. Problem solved and beans are swelling and ripening. Super stoked to see what these bring. I’m surprised with these being heirloom that there are some many variations ie. leaf structure, bud formation and smells. Got a couple that are woody, tobacco smelling and one stand out fruity sweet smelling one. Guess we’ll see. Here they are, Tora Bora.

Expecting a cabbage head, got some sat lookers lol. Hairs running the length of stems, 9 bladed leaves. But mine resemble yours so I don’t feel to bad
To be honest, I’m not seeing or smelling anything super “wow” but mine are straight seeded and nothing for smoke. I didn’t take cuts to run afterwards either. I’ll let others run them and share what they find. I’ve got some other things in the works for when these are done. I just wanted to contribute to the cause.

No offense, won’t be doin landraces anytime soon again . My one size fits all regime, they don’t seem to take kindly too. They eat, no probs, just ugly and it looks like low yielding from here lol.

i think they’re beautiful! It’s like the 1970’s up in here.

I do hear what you’re saying though my friend. Kind of needs to be connoisseur smoke if they’re going to be gangly.

No offense taken here. I think if the ones I have growing were in larger pots and not fully seeded they might yield ok. They had minimal stretch so a longer veg was needed but the smells on these plants is mainly a tobacco type smell with some earth in it. Not one of those I can’t stop sniffing the bush type gals if you know what I mean?

I'm doing these preservation runs with zero intentions of producing ripe flowers.
That's the reward for the future that we make these available in bulk.
I do love the old time smells!
Can't wait to do the serious hunt part.
Same, didn’t grow them for bud and didn’t take clones either. I figure I’ll pop some beans later and see what it’s about and also test my work, make sure I didn’t fudge anything up.
