sorry if I’m making this a lot of questions but I’m trying to stump and give ya some tips I wish I knew when I first growing coco and non organics.

Are you waiting 3hr’s min before having any lights on if your foliar spraying, how much light power are u running /dim % or ppfd?

are u making sure to do run off since non organics in coco? since I see jacks you need to make sure min 5-15% of water u give in needs to also release run off. I would have burn off and salt build up quickly otherwise . It’s a bitch

what temp is water ur applying to plants ? I had a issue awhile ago my water being used def was too cold, it takes me 1-2 min days to get it at level it’s good (above 68f) or you can use a shatter proof aquarium heaters (20 bucks)

ph of drench/water on medium? = for coco 5.8-6.5

you says jacks 321 but I see some micro nutes issues visually ( so many factors coild be why) , if it was me bump ur epsom rate and see what happens or even foliar spray @ 1T @ 6-7ph water and get better nute intake and faster!

are those plants autos? = turn it to 24/7 if it is and also my Experience with autos they def are more sensitive to light intensity and also nutes ppm beyond 500-700ppm

edit:

i see algae on ur medium and ur using automation , in order for the plant and roots to establish I highly suggest in the first 1-3 weeks till u at least see roots all over to hand water or make sure ur plants medium is drying up enough, otherwise this is gonnea be ur biggest issue where the plant doesn’t produce any root, if u constantly feed or water before roots there they won’t search for water and it’s biggest issue gardeners do is overwater. are u lifting ur pots to see they are actually dry ? a suggestion if u don’t know this is lift a pot that’s dry and than water it and relift. There’s a major difference and watering a plant multiple times in a day or too often is a major flaw when people think they can automatically do that and not realize they need to wait till that plant has the roots to be able to do it. thing is every pheno will even drink more or less too so know ur plant. just saying see algae and that’s a def sign

No worries about that, I will address them

Are you waiting 3hr’s min before having any lights on if your foliar spraying, how much light power are u running /dim % or ppfd?

No, I turn lights off - spray- turn fans on to circulate air, wait about 45 mins to 1hr to allow to dry - lights back on and resume the grow

are u making sure to do run off since non organics in coco? since I see jacks you need to make sure min 5-15% of water u give in needs to also release run off. I would have burn off and salt build up quickly otherwise . It’s a bitch

Always runoff, first thing I did after causing this issue was to flush media and reset, ec was up at time of flush

I'm probably a bit on the low side at 66* to 68*, a heater set to 70ish would prob help down the line

ph of drench/water on medium? = for coco 5.8-6.5

never below 5.7 or above 6.2

The following is what I use for additional in veg, Stout MSA Si @ 2.5ml/g = 1/2 strength, Mr. Fulvic @ .05ml/gal = 1/2 strength, The Kelp was always in the nutrient mix but it's causing some biofilm in my lines so I moved to foliar & didn't adjust mix (and here we are lol)

they are Photoperiod plants

Yes there's algae, it has all come in the last two weeks where the plants are fed but the medium has not been drying as it should be causing this. The Auto feed was just turned on after 1.5 weeks of hand feeding and things were good until the foliar which stopped uptake basically. I have studied the crop steering guides so I'm familiar with dryback. I have had my share of overwatering and still do it from time to time on small plants so it's a work in progress.

Hope that answers your ?'s Thanks for your time!
