What have you figured out?I have a mutant problem now showing on 5 different seed varieties from different breeders. One top in flower looked like polyploid (sp) multiple branching at random locations:

Well I haven't figured it out, recently two more varieties did similar branch splits and random leafing. What have you figured out?
So it started with the new soil or it was happening before?Well I haven't figured it out, recently two more varieties did similar branch splits and random leafing.
I replaced all my soil last year in June and September with bagged soil 3.0 that I picked up in Montrose at the store. It seems to show very early and some have been grown after cutting off the affected branches. Seeds start in mix of peat, worm castings and BAS 3.0, equal parts, maybe the pH is a problem? Vegging under a CMH 315. Never had this problem before.
Alcohol disinfectant, actually now that I look back, I have added Montana Grow Silica after the first runs. But that is mainly volcanic rock. But about a cup for seven gallons. So it started with the new soil or it was happening before?
What do you do with your pruning shears? Disinfectant?
Definitely seems odd, don't think that add in is doing it, hope it isn't your base soil causing the issue.Alcohol disinfectant, actually now that I look back, I have added Montana Grow Silica after the first runs. But that is mainly volcanic rock. But about a cup for seven gallons.
