Turkish cultivars

I hope I'm not breaking any rules posting here I don't see many posts but I wanted to know if there's any information in English about Turkish cannabis and hashish? Being the seat of power of the ottoman empire they would have had farms in turkey and would have imported seeds from all over the empire. There has been heavy prosecution over the plant for a long time now there but you'd think in such a large country there'd be more cultivars that survived or at least some sort of information whatsoever about it but I cant find anything (barely). I was wondering if anyone had any info on anything, surviving cultivars, hash making techniques or book recommendations on the subject because the information available online is scarce imo.

Interestingly enough I virtually just ordered these for a hunt through some landrace Indicas. I also got a couple packs of seeds from the Sinai region of Egypt which are rumored to have traveled there from the Turkey/Lebanon region, hence them being so different from the more typical African sativas.

As you mentioned, not a ton of info out there. I'll definitely be posting about what I end up finding.
