Really? You mean as in the bud and structure or the deficiency color cause to be honest I fed the other Pheno exactly the same stuff and she didn’t faulter a bit. But this one is 3-4x the size of the other. I’ll tell you one thing she is frosty as all get out. Maybe not on the fans but those buds are damn near white when you get close to them.

Oh wow yeah she looks amazing. Buds do look a lot alike. Idk why but that pic didn’t pop up till after I replied to the other post but either way that bud looks excellent. I’m gonna do another run of these here soon in about a month. I’m loving that heavy diesel fuel Nose!!

today is day 91 for Knows Candy F1 #1 I’m gonna give her a serious flush today. It slipped my mind the other day and you can tell she is paying the price of my negligence. So I’m stepping the game up a little bit more. I also had another tent given to me with another Mars hydro light so I’m gonna put up another 3x4 and maybe keep that one for my autos only.

Is really filling out. It’s weird I’m in this crazy battle with this plant. She’s so damn gorgeous and frosty but the leaves keep telling me there is a deficiency. So everytime I feed her she gets a touch darker but then leaves right away and back to yellow within the day.. I’m just trying to ride it out to harvest on a few weeks. But I am for sure gonna do another run of these in January. I’m a pretty big fan of the yield.

Harvested Knows Candy F1 #1 today. Totaling 122 days from sprout. She handled all the stress and made it to harvest. Creating some gorgeous very full buds. I probably could of even trimmed off the big mains that are completely finished and left the lower buds go even longer. But at 122 days I’m a little over this girl. That’s pushing on as long if not longer then I run my photos. I also normally lollipop all my plants even autos but lately I’ve been leaving the bottom growth alone to see if my yield increases like some say more leaves more yield. I get that to a point… the bottoms are extremely leafy/larfy so not usable bud for smoke but this strain puts out the fucking FROST! The bottoms are covered and will be used for Rosin or Edibles.
This Pheno didn’t even start to flower until day 45, the stretch was very slow and subtle, at first only doubling in size. It stops for a few days to maybe two weeks then exploded around day 70 Growing 2x as big as pheno #2 which finished way before this one but the wait seems worth it. I got ‘icy larger buds and way way better terps off this pheno then the last one
The Nose is 100x more Dank then the first Pheno. I’m getting a rotten fruit/melon, chemical, diesel fuel aroma kinda makes the eyes water a bit, it’s intense. I had to put it in my guest bathroom with the exhaust on it’s so rank.

not sure why but my buds always grow these little mini bud on top of the main colas. Anyone know why that happens? Sometimes it will be a stem then a little bud a top that.
Lower/Larf shot, I can clearly see all the trichomes and they are all milky/amber so it’s definitely “more usable product”. I would normally strip anything that doesn’t go above 60% the plants total height or if they can’t get any light. However now that I’m pressing my own rosin this could be a bonus. I don’t have to press my good flower into rosin if I have a good bit of larf this quality.

Sprout to harvest- 122 days
Yield- 93.48g of dried ready to cure buds no larf all larf and sugar leaves were given to a buddy for edibles.(he keeps all the sugar leaves and larf/trim I give him then makes some pretty potent butter and brownies/cookies. He also makes this vegan cookie dough which is slamming) I don’t normally get Jogi of edibles but his food gets me everytime I feel like I’m reliving the first time I got high everytime I eat his choc chip cookies.
Aroma- sweet earthy spice with a hint of melon and acetone
Flavor- delicious funky melon with some spice notes I wanna say basil or thyme but I get an herb with that melon, then the finish is a heavy glue/chemical through the nose.
Effects-POTENT!!! I smoked one bowl and was day dreaming forgetting that I was even typing this message and at one point I sang a whole merkules song then remembered I was typing. Great for pain, stress relief
Grow- overall a very simple to the basics grow. I used Blue planet farmers pride organic nutrients, superthrive, recharge or root magic and Bonide root and grow in the beginning. Switched to house and garden coco A+B,root Excel gold in flower with a bit of blue planet liquid seaweed here and there around to help boost the health and quality of the plant while producing buds. It definitely helped as the fans were getting yellow then got darker green again after the liquid seaweed.
Rating— I seriously enjoyed these grows and the differences I saw from the 3 phenos I had. This is a potent tasty autoflower that can definitely stand up to some photo periods I’ve had. The things I like most about it were the gassy, chemical and fruit terps I’m getting on the nose and smoke, the vigor and hardiness of these plants is insane, I transplanted them 3xs, topped,supercropped (apparently you can just “crop” and not supercrop and I didn’t know that so idk what I did I just squeezed some stems and laid EM over to even up canopies) I also defoliated #1 4x only 2/4 were really heavy defoliation. And even through all that stress they still yielded huge compared to any other auto I’ve grown to date. The buds were dense and mega frosty on both phenos that made it to harvest which was a plus. So there are a lot of great things about this strain. Oh and let’s not brush off this potency! As for the the dislikes…. Flowering time, some flower early and finish in a reasonable time for an auto while others take almost double the time. Different terp profiles. I love the flavor from the Pheno that takes longer(#1) but that shorter one (#2) had some weird earth notes I wasn’t too fond of.

I got a message from Adam at Twenty20mendocino and he asked if I could continue this journal with the F2 and maybe F3. Of course I said yes!!! I’m excited to see the differences from one filial of this strain to the other and where their vision of Knows Candy is going.
So far I’m liking this strain their are definitely things I don’t like as stated above but there are so so many excellent traits to this strain. I’m gonna dedicate a whole tent to her this next run and see how much better they do with more focused light and some heavier feedings. Thanks again for this opportunity @Twenty20 Adam that last plant I could definitely see and taste the trizzlers in it.
If i could add anything myself I’d want those trizzler terps more prevalent with the glue potency and narcotic effects. Those Dank melon terpy get me smiling everytime I can taste EM or get a whiff and the potency is there in certain F1s(definitely the frostier ones are stronger).
If you can give your perspective @Twenty20 Adam what did you guys over at the breeding headquarters look for in F1s to make the F2s and I think you said your in the process of making or harvesting the F3 so what F2 traits did you guys try to pass on to the F3s? I guess I’m wondering how is the process going and what characteristics are the final products supposed to possess?

Popped 3x right away when I got them and will pop more once the tents clear out a bit.
so far we have 100% germination all 3/3 popped tap roots within 30hrs of soaking in bottled water.
Placed all 3 cracked seeds into coffee filter and wetted it with 6.8ph bottled water with 2drops super thrive mixed in.
Used root riot plugs as seed starter, placing each beam tap root Dow into the plugs. Then wet plugs with superthrive + H2O
12/9/21- 2/3 popped through the plugs. 1 to go. Will post picks when all have sprouted.

The sniffer terps remained dominant but I think you will see more uniformity and we def hunted the most pungent and flavorful of the bunch. The winners were carefully chosen! We hope you are just as happy or more!

The pictures I took before didn’t do this strain near justice. So I took new ones and am much more happy with these. All of these are at 10 days of of cure and the smoke is already “Top Quality”Softer melon/ sweet fruit with much more gassy fuel/ astringent chemical taste that makes you just say WOW. And the smoke really Carry’s all thise terps right through. Very pleasant smoke.
effects: waves of euphoria and warmth, calms nervousness and anxiety, really helps with arthritic pain and neropathy

(below) fresh pressed rosin @ 205 for 85 seconds. The flavor is wonderful but I can tell I need to work on my flower curing method for extractions. This is very good still though. The main notes are grassy herbs and lemon pledge however besides my shotty cure job the potency is the real deal here. I took one dab and had to sit back and reevaluate what I was doing and why. Ever take those hits where after you breathe out your head is buzzing and your eyes can’t focus then you forget to breathe but you take such a deep breathe that your whole breathing patter is fucked so you start to panic and then you remember you don’t have to breathe you body does it on its own.. Yeah those are the dabs I look for and normally have to do crazy Globs but this shit hit the spot with a double bb sized dab. Very impress. However the yield I got was very minimal from pressing. I am very new too it this being my 3rd time pressing but I only got back 2grams of rosin from 14.58grams of flower cured 9 days. Any points are greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately not every strain gushes rosin. It has a lot to do with resin characteristics. Some of the gummy/tacky gritty resin producers like wedding cake also produce copious amounts of rosin. My beautiful Candyhole plant makes giant spears of frost covered flowers with rediculous orange candy terps, is so stingy with the rosin i won't even bother pressing except for on special occasions.

First run I dropped 3x beans into a 30ml cup of bottled water(2drops Super thrive) with a PH of 6.89
Within 30hrs all 3 had a small tap root. I decided to plant each of them into a 1/2 of a root riot plug.I have been ripping them in half and it works wonderfully and I get double the plugs/bag.
After 24hrs of being in the root riot plugs and 55hrs since getting wet all 3 had popped through the plugs.
With the F1 I decided to transplant them all to test how hardy the genetics were and to put the strain to the test. This time however I have decided that I am only going to transplant 2 of them and I’m gonna top 1 of those 2.
This way I get one with only a germination to final home and all natural growth with minimal stressors.
One with only 1x up pot to final home and LST
Finally One with 1x up pot to final home and a topping once flowering starts.

The Knows Candy F2s are the 2x fabric pots in the enter of the tent(the transplanted ones) and the big 2gal in the right back corner is the one I planted directly into its final home and you can tell she is just thriving compared to the other two.

Let me start off by saying I’m so fucking HYPE RIGHT NOW!! These girls are exceeding my expectation 10 fold. Last run they were a bit stunted and had a little trouble with flowering at the same time. Well these 3x below me have been put through the ringer all ready and I’m very pleased with what we got going so far.
All plants are under 250w LED and being fed Blue planet farmer pride organic liquid nutrients( I love this stuff for autos) superthrive,recharge,sticky sweet are added to all plain waterings
Above: KCf2 #1 this girl was transplanted and gave microbes only no superthrive or Root&Grow. No training
Below: KCf2#3 this girl was also transplanted but was given microbes super thrive and Root&Grow. She barely flinched and is about the proper size (could be another few inches taller) for that container(1gal).. sadly my heavy handed shaky ass broke the main stem while leaf tucking. I tapered her up so hopefully she will be fine.
Below: now this girl is blowing me away. I’ve let auto just do there thing before and not mess with them at all but this has some of the best structure I have ever seen on an Autoflower. With no training at all every single branch has grown out and stayed about even with the top. I wanted to let her keep going like this but my OCD took over and I LSTd her to really see what we can get with this 2gal container.
All 3 showed sex at day 20 and are now starting to throw pistils other places. I’m hoping these are nice finishers. I just chopped a forum stomper to make more room for these girls that POS wasn’t throwing any buds or frost yet and was at day 55. I know what these can do and im ready for some more of that primo funky bud!

Looking good! I can't wait until our lone Knows candy f1 is done. It's on day 66 and looking like 2 more weeks and she's finished. She is definitely a great smelling plant.

Dude your gonna love them! I had 2 different phenos though. So by you saying it smells great I’m hoping you got the super skunky+Chem/rubber cement kinda burns your nose hairs Pheno. That one my friend makes you hate that you can’t clone autoflowers. I’m so hoping these are all aimed toward that Pheno and not the musty earthy dirt tasting Pheno i had. Then again that could of just been me fucking shit up as usual. Good luck JP!
