Dude your gonna love them! I had 2 different phenos though. So by you saying it smells great I’m hoping you got the super skunky+Chem/rubber cement kinda burns your nose hairs Pheno. That one my friend makes you hate that you can’t clone autoflowers. I’m so hoping these are all aimed toward that Pheno and not the musty earthy dirt tasting Pheno i had. Then again that could of just been me fucking shit up as usual. Good luck JP!
Ours smells like what you described with a melon bowl dumped on top. No earthy dirt aroma at all. She looked great at lights out. How long did your first ones run?

You probably got a trizzler leaner I’ve grown the trizzlers and loved it. Very melon forward. My F1s were all over the place. A few ran 80 days but my best on ran 122 but yielded huge and had the dankest buds I’ve ever had from an auto

Ya it smells like the last trizzlers that I grew. This one looks like it'll be done in 2-3 weeks and we're on day 67. It's on the small side, 23 inches tall but her buds are on full swell mode the last week. They are nice and dense too. She really started beefing up when I added terpinator in to her bloom nutrients. She's definitely a heavy eater.

Yeah they are heavy eaters. I had a shorty too but still produced gorgeous buds just not as terpy as my big one but who wants to wait 100 days for a plant to be done. Not me lol

You definitely wouldn't have liked the topanga canyon from GPS if you haven't already grown it. Not an auto but definitely not a 7-9 week flower like they claimed. It took 35 days into flower just to show pistils and ended up going 137 days total, 114 of those days in flower lmao. We flipped at 23 days because I hurt my back and that sucker just took forever. It was almost 5ft tall. It was worth it though. She gave us just shy of 5 ounces of which we pressed most of. Average return was right around 20% of some of the best concentrate I've had in my life. I was so surprised at the final results.

How's this grow journal going? It's been a while since we've heard from you
I had a set back and was out of commission for a little while but I’ll be slinging some pics of some testing I’ve been doing on the F2s and F1s I ran them together to see the difference in flowering time and PVI. It’s insane how stable and hardy the F2s are. I transplanted 3 of them again and they didn’t miss a beat. They are actually my biggest plants. Making the mephisto skywalker I’m running with them look like a straight runty bitch. Lol. So happy I’ll get to blaze on some of these flowers again.

Knows Candy F2 run#2

I decided to rerun the KCF2 (Knows Candy F2) for additional testing. I did get a harvest from the first run however I didn’t get to try it once it was cured and I also had a lot of other things going on at the time. However this time I am focusing solely on Knows Candy.

All 4x of these are KCF2. 3x of the 4 are in fabric 1gallon pots with Coco/perlite and the other is in a plastic #1 pot (.75 gal) with soil.

The one in the soil was planted directly into the medium and is thriving (pic 4). No transplanting or topping for this one, LST clips only

Now the other 3x KCF2 are in 1 gallon fabric pots with Coco/perlite. All of these were transplanted at week 2.5 and they look bigger and healthier then the one I didn’t transplant.

Looks to be 2x distinctly different growth structures, some are very bushy with thick beefy stems and little to no visiability through the canopyWhile the other Pheno seems to be very lanky with long internodal spacing, you can clearly see into the plant canopy.

The F2s seem to be fairly synchronized on when they start flowering. Every one transplanted and not, started to show sex and signs of flower by day 23-27.

Knows Candy F2 #4(Frosty)
This girl was run under 18/6 300w LED until they started to fully preflower then I placed her and the F1#6 into my 12/12 tent that only has a 150w LED so they have been in that tent for 20daysnso far and are on par with the Knows candies I left in the 18/6. I wanted to see what the difference in yield would be if I flowered them under different lights and light schedules. So far the 12/12 are the frostier ones but the 18/6 look a bit bigger.

Vegged under 300w led for 30 days at 18/6 then under 150wled for 20 days at 12/12

Knows Candy f2 #1
Grown under 18/6 300w LED.
I tried to use the last of my fox farm nutes that are over 2yrs old and as you can see I didn’t realize I needed to add calmag with the fox farm nutes. I thought they were all in one.. oops!

So back to house and garden after those bottles are all gone. Which is very very soon.

Knows Candy F2 #3( The Biggin)
This gal has golf ball sized nugs all ready. Double-quadruple the size it’s sisters. Grown under 300w LED for 18/6 daily.

Knows Candy F2 #4 (Topper)
This is the only one besides the KCF1 that I topped, the buds look a bit smaller but there are a ton more bud sites than any other plant. Hoping for a heft harvest from all these girls.
E33C144B-FE5E-4C43-861B-39EAEAD51AAA.jpeg
I’m gonna add that I planted all KCF2 in jiffy plugs then placed them into 8oz containers with a dome, then at 3 weeks from sprout I transplanted them all into 1gallon fabric pots with coco/perlite. Fed them some Bonide Root&Grow @12ml/gallon ph-6.0 so these are some very hardy plants and can handle lots of LST, some HST and don’t miss a beat with the transplanting.

There last feeding

So with this Knows Candy Run I decided to experiment and run an F1 and an F2 in the same exact soil with identical nutes. However I dropped my damn fan on the F1 so it got topped. Fucked the whole experiment up.. ? but I did get to see how different the bud structureis and let me just say it’s crazy how much more trichome production and yield these F2s put out compared to the F1 and the flowering time. The F1 took a bit longer to flower out and also seems to be a bit behind the F2.

F2 grown in Natures Care soil with added perlite and only fed Fox farms grow big and big bud plus recharge on water only days.

As you can see I’m not a fan of fox farm as it always burns my plants or starves them I never get a happy medium literally…

All 4 of these have really grown fantastically. After being dried out from me being lazy a number of times, they always snapped right back. Yields all look pretty hefty, and smell amazing.

One or two of these could of used another week but they are all cloudy and a few ambers here and there so that’s good enough for me. My whole fry area smells like day old vomit breath, glue, and onions. ?

Overall these were a breeze to grow, I was able to transplant them 2x and feed them 1500ppm from transition till flush. They didn’t have a single problem with fungus gnats and they thrived no matter what VPD I had my environment at. At one point it was 20% humidity and 109F for over a day and they still kept strong. I will say that they grew much much better in a cooler temp. It seemed they loved when it was 80F or less. They didn’t like to be extremely cold though. I accidentally had my intake hose right next to my AC vent and the tent got down to 50F and they started to droop a bit. Other then that these were amazing to grow. So strong and fucking DANK!!!

Beautiful job @BigPretzel
I'm really liking what I see his autos.
Can't wait for smoke report. ?
I love their autos. My first taste was the Trizzlers and I got the melon oheno so I got spoiled from the rip by them. Then I did the whiskey Zulu which was massive for how small I tried to keep it. Then i started running these Knows candy and after I ran them once and smoke it, I was hooked, this strain is very very narcotic. It makes all the pains, mental and physical go away

Both runs are great my friend.
I have come to that same conclusion, most autos I have run do not like cold as much as they can handle the heat, I run my rooms on the warm side mostly in the 80’s with great results.
