I promise I won't be updating frequently on minutiae, but the hull-locked Ogreberry seedling is now freed. Ultimately gave that helmet a gentle sideways finger squeeze yesterday evening, and a cotyledon popped. Set it out in dappled shade while at work today, and all is well.

Pic from this afternoon of both Ogreberry, as well as their homes for this grow - 7gal Living Soil bags w/ the side liners that @OldG recommend.

Plant tags are near the seedlings so you can see their placement. Intending the one in the center of the bag to go natural, and the offset plant will get some training and torture.

So it has been about a week or so, they arrived above ground on the 23rd. I consider day one when they pop above ground. I have been feeding 1/4 strength nutes, since day one. I’m using Cold War Organics, straight coco.
Now on to the plants. My first thought, they do show some vigor, they seem to be reaching a bit perhaps do to overcrowding and less light. They are on track with the growth rates of other autos I have grown.

This is the babies today, the larger ones to the right are Nite Blood Autos, and in the front some Passion Punch Autos. Sorry @HBZ farms the Archive GSC didn’t make it. Still have one left so it’s all good.

The Nite Blood is a Magic strain he has worked to F3, those are the youngest, I have 4 more a bit older I will post a pic when I get to the back to water them.

Watering today with a bit of top dress bio stimulant, recently I switched from Roots Organizm XL to Micro-Myco price point was the main reason, but great results so far.

Yep hit me up will follow along, Magic has some great work, while back he had a Blk Mrr strain that is a fantastic cross, Nite Blood uses the Blk Mrr for the male. Gotta see what they do. I will keep you posted.

If you like magic then you need to check out Binary Selections idk if your familiar but Binary is a Breeding Collab with Magic Strains and Ronin Gardens (Bum wine was one of the biggest auto flowers I’ve ever seen grown) I havent grown any magic strains (I have troubled grape but haven’t run it yet) not have I personally grown any Ronin gear however they did some crosses with that BlkMrr and a lot of their other strains are absolute ⛽️ ? ? Their landlockfunk (lost coast skunk auto x Nami) and white Xmas (blkmrr x white stomper) are absolutely amazing. Straight sprite terps on the Xmas and funk skunky goodness on the other. they just came out with a new line their dystopia series. I haven’t gotten any of those yet cause funds are super tight rn but believe me my next purchase is gonna be a few new binary releases and that Italian beef by tony green.

Sorry for blowing up this thread about a different company. Twenty20 still has the most resilient and durable Autoflowers I’ve grown to date and they will always be my first choice but Binary is such a damn close second that it’s a hard split sometimes of which to pop.

So on to the topic at hand, here are the babies they are doing well at 14 days old feeding half strength nutes and the Purple Punch gifts from @Frimpong are 7 and the newcomer a volunteer that was lost and forgotten is the GirlScout Cookies gifted from @HBZ farms, yep she rose from the dead. Ha

They are at about the same growth rate as most of their autos, they appear to be on the short side in my humble opinion, I will be moving them under full light from shade tomorrow. Will increase to full strength nutes after I see how they respond. I do like to grow my autos taller and will be doing plant manipulation to stimulate top end growth starting with leg shaving.

I try not to show preference to any one breeder to much, there is so much fire right here on this site. I run everyone’s stuff I just love the plant.

Ogreberry update shot. she is cruising along in a 2 gal smart pot with 707 blend from roots organic. I am just giving her some gen hydro at half strength modified lucas formula. I am feeding her every other day.
