Understanding DMT

So today we know much more about dmt and how it affects our brains then we did back in the 60's when it was becoming more well known in the u.s.

A small amount of dmt is stored in the Pineal gland, which is between your eyebrows about 2 inches back inside of your brain, it is the center of the frontal cortex. This is also where the third eye chakra has been said to exist which is a very very strange coincedence.

The pineal gland is also known as the seat of the soul, it is where our entire personality stems from. It has one specific function and that is to establish a context for every type of situation you encounter. It is basically completely fulfilled by the time we are teens

When you experience something that causes an emotion that you feel for the very first time, let's use happiness as an example, the very very first time you feel happiness , because it is new in your mind it is the utmost absolute strongest feeling of happy that you can ever experience. The pineal gland st that moment takes a complete sensory snapshot, everything your seeing, smelling, tasting, and hearing it's like a complete inner body photo and it sticks the label "happiness" on it, to you that is the ideal "happiness" so from then on out, next time something makes you happy first you brain goes to that memory and then you decide how close this situation is to that specific "happy" situation and you decide how happy to be based on that ultimate happiness.

If your still following me , that means your first happy was a 10. You feel happy again but this time it's a 7. So you develop reactions to a level 7 happiness and react accordingly,

The pineal gland does this for every emotion it is the basis for who we become determining what we fear, what makes us angry, what we seek in life and basically it is the first building block that every other memory and decision making is based off of.

Now when the pineal gland forms the very first memories we are young, from days old to a year old so we dont recognize aaaaanything around us . The entire world is alien ,when we look at a chair we do not see it like we do as adults, even understanding that the legs the seat the arms ar different parts of the same object is something we dont identify so everything around us is absolutely alien.

Sooooo.....
Dmt is naturally stored in this gland, and when dmt is smoked it hyper activates this part of the brain, meaning on a cat scan you can see blood flow and electrical activity go crazy in that part of the brain.

Dmt also activates the cerebral cortex and the thalamus , which among other things all of our sensory input is funneled through the thalamus and decoded by the cerebral cortex. They also are hyper active when smoking dmt.

Sooooo here's MY PERSONAL THEORY this is not at all proven but what my logic tells me,

A dmt trip may very well be out very first memories exactly as we remember them as children, it's taking your very very first memory of whatever situation and re-feeding it thru your thalmus to your cortex completely removing all sensory input "this reality" and replacing it with a babies view of the world for a short period.

This would explain why the trips can feel "more real than actual reality" because they are in fact real, it explains the OVERWHELMING sense that you have been ther before, this is a very common explanation people give about dmt that they feel like they have been to that other world before.

And it can explain the entities, as a baby laying in bed watching its parents poke their heads into his bed or whatever, because you are completely aware that the entity is not you, you get a strong feeling that the entity is completely seperate from yourself and people talk about entities interacting with them giving them love or instruction or whatever
Just like people would be doing to you as a baby.

I think it's possible that even though we have NOOOOOO idea how that memory is related to ANYTHING from our childhood, I think by activating this memory, reassessing it as an adult, and then being able to understand the memory as something completely different than your original understanding may he the cause for the "life changing" experiences I think it can be a very strong therapeutic tool in this way.

Well this is my understanding of dmt and after a very long time of research both physical and literary this is my current hypothesis about the dmt experience

Absolutely EXCELLENT insight and reflection of the DMT experience. I have had dark and good moments, but what you describe is one of the best assertions I've ever read. Keep it up, you have a gift for presentation and elaboration. ?:phenohunt:

Kkv..
Good insight..
In economics the parallel phrase is "The Law Diminishing returns"..

For each additional unit of "X" consumed the incremental benefit, or in this case, incremental increase in joy, is subsequently decreased..

Lol Haha. Nice.

The discovery, making and first time using dmt was literally a pivot point in my.life, i have dedicated myself since first encountering it to spreading the knowledge about it and making ppl aware, anyone who desires the experience should be able to have it,

It's so far beyond the realm of "drugs" I know it's a substance that has an effect, but it's like calling a gigantic military floating fortress a "boat"

If you abuse it, it abuses you back, you cant dip your toes with dmt , doing smaller doses has very very little and uncomfortable effect, some ppl like it I dont.

Dmt for me is like a light switch , either do enough or you dont.

And when you do....

It's personal yet alien, scary but beautiful, attainable yet unimaginable experience you can ever have.

The few things dmt does for me personally didnt happen in 1 trip, it took a good handfull of trips until the effects starting having lasting impressions,

#1
I no longer fear death, as in whatsoever, part of me actually looks forward to seeing what comes after this because of what I experienced I KNOW as sure as the ground I stand on that there is much more than the physical realm. Dmt completely separates you from your physical body, so you realize even without your body , you still exist.

#2

Dmt obliterates any substance cravings. I have had substance addiction issues my entire life, so with anything I do I have to be very very careful and theres alot of thi gs I just wont do. During different mo tha and times I start getti g this feeling , almost like impending doom, it's a kind of anxiety but it builds very very slowly until I start waking up every day on the edge of my seat feeling like something is just about to happen constantly, this feeling in the past has led me to using. Now when I feel this coming on if I smoke DMT it goes away ABSOLUTELY and for many months. If I smoke dmt semi regularly like once a month, I never get the feeling . But now I normally do it once every 4 months or so when I get the feeling or if I just feel like doing it.

#3

I actively seek guidance from dmt. And i feel like whatever energy/entity it is that has to do with dmt protects me. Many times it has given me bad feelings about different situations, people, or things I was doing and I listen. The first thing it told me when I did dmt was "share" make sure anyone that desired it could have it, and from then on it has protected me and guided me.

#4
Because dmt is so overly intense and overwhelming, after using it regularly there was nothing in my day to day life that would.make me panic or stress or shake me up at all. As extreme and intense as dmt is, learning to handle myself during that period of absolute intensity , I learned how to handle myself in any type of tense situation. I'm happier, I'm not easily shaken, and I always know everything is going to be ok.

And finally #5

Dmt has led me to some of the most interesting people I have ever met. Not everyone desires such a strong overwhelming experience , but the 1 in 100 that do have become mh friends and we are the weirdest most extreme fray ppl you'll ever meet and I love it. People that regularly take psychedelics are kinder, trustworthy, and all around just interesting people.

Dmt has change my life.for the better and it can do the same for anyone
