Ok so since I didn't know how to create a proper thread to tally votes I tried to count them...then I thought...I really should make seeds from a cross useful made not just gifted or F2's. I may visit the fire OG and SSSDH at some point but I think I will make seeds from 1. A plant many seem to like chocolate diesel and 2 a plant my friends and family have been really enjoying chocolate trip. My next seed run will be a cross useful made ...chocolate diesel x chocolate trip. I have enjoyed both on their own and can't wait to see what his selections of each will bring us. I can't predict my results but when ready they will be available for the PH family. I'll keep ya posted.

All I can say is, that's freaking awesome man. I would really love to run some when they're ready. My Useful experience was with his chem91 skva x chocolate diesel, loved that stuff.

I am going to start the whole pack of Mint Chocolate Trip, this evening and start a OP run,
Hopefully I will get plenty of seedS to share with the PH PHAM.

Those look stellar man! Cant wait for your Chocolate Trip run. Thats one of the few Useful strains I never grabbed so Ill be knocking for sure when theyre done lol

I had to look up what the "OC" stood for in this cross, and found this great description of the nose by Useful

AROMA: SMELLS RANGE FROM ORANGE CREAMSICLES TO THE SMELL OF A SKUNK BEING BEATEN WITH A BAG OF ORANGES.

@Lester Moor this is such a thoughtful and generous way of honoring such a legend. Good looking out, the Canna Community will be so grateful.

They dont make em like Useful anymore. He was a genuinely great person with an amazing knack for creating fire genetics without the greed and drama that is so commonplace in the seed biz these days. I was first a fan of his work and was fortunate enough to do testing for him which then evolved into a friendship over the years.
When many others would reject the idea for worry of it effecting their own gains, he without any hesitation reached out to help me get my own seed venture going in total contrast to what may be in his own best interest as a breeder. This single deed speaks volumes about the mans character. His unwavering kindness, charity work, willingness to help, and distaste for drama are just a small portion of great attributes found in Useful. Many could stand to model their existence the same. I respected this man and his work greatly. He will be missed dearly by many.

When you told me about this tears literally rolled out of my eyes. I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet him but from everything I’ve seen he seemed like it was all about sharing the love of the plant and suppressing out his works of art. RIP Useful.

Very cool you got to know Useful in that manner..So many breeders ide love to talk to and just haven't..I'm not the super social type..Those two would awesome but damn man, Fire Og f2s are literally untouchable these days??. Been chasing those quite some time..Romulan f2s. Sheesh??

Where be the @Uncle Rom?? Man I’d love to run Romulan one day. From what I remember of the ones I’ve schmoked it was some seriously good stuff.

I'm hoping to pick up some pointers from @TopShelfTrees , while he's doing his Repro run of BOO,
I'm stoked he's going to be doing them.

I've been trying to figure out how to describe the smell.
Orange Creamsicle is spot on, I can't wait to try it.

I too was wondering how to best go about preserving a feminized pack of Useful seeds, so I will also keep an eye on TopShelfTrees’ process with BOO.
