Anyone ever give orange peels a try?

Using orange peel to deter pests – an organic way to regain control over your garden

"One of the best ways to use orange peels to deter pests is to create a spray,' Kevin says. The gardener recommends boiling a few orange peels in a cup of water for ten minutes, then straining the liquid into a spray bottle"

"Alternatively, you can chop up (or grind) your orange peels into small pieces. 'Spread these pieces or scrapes near the base of the plants. The pungent smell of orange peels can help deter some pests and rodents away from the plants,"

I wonder if orange strains also deter pests ? I'm currently running one Bag of Oranges (Useful) along with other strains, but have no pest problems currently.

Very interesting. I don't use the citrus peels for my worm beds so I may try grinding some up and add it to my mulch cover. More organics!
Good add on for teas for garden, I would add em if I bought oranges more often

12. Citrus Peels

Citrus peels are an all-around player when it comes to making homemade cannabis fertilizers that are all natural and free of additives and/or toxins.

That’s because citrus peels are rich in all of the three major elements cannabis plants require, namely NPK (Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium).

Citrus peels can be added to your compost but you can also make DIY citrus peels marijuana fertilizer in pretty much the same way as the banana peel fertilizer recipe we shared above.

Last but not least, it can be a great idea to boil citrus peels and simply feed the water to your plants. Although not a full-strength fertilizer, this method does result in boosting the quality of the soil.”

Apparently Bananas were banned or not sold at one point because you can "get high of fermented banana peels" lol. I've never really made a compost, but the ground our plants grow on grass animals and fish guts buried underneath. They usually have roots going through the bottoms of the pots so I toss potash on the ground too and sometimes use it when watering. Though I've learned on here that I need to be careful with the dose of potash.

Bananas contain more radiation than psychoactive substances.
