@Buck5050 where's the pistils on this GG4bx1?
Drowning in nug-meat.

The Tomahawk flower had a rot/decay undertone. A scent that came and went with each inhale. It didn't linger and almost hard to find, but it was there.

The GG4s1 bud formations seem to have a compounding calyx layout that swells into itself, producing good chunks of buds. These calyx look to carry some decent frost coverage and I'm very curious to see what you end up with and how you feel about it.

If I labeled it that, these came from a different pHeno of the GG4s1, that particular pHeno was stretchier and finished faster than the Mom to the GG75 line.

I just caught up, call it GG4s1 x Tomahawk? Didn't know I was the 1st, would have chronicled more. Definitely has decent node spacing and good branching.

Should have stuck with names for labels instead of just numbers. Just found a container labeled 3.2 with a cut in it. 3 = GG4s1 x Tomahawk .2 = plant 2. This was the plant I culled about week 3 because it wasn't looking right. I have since determined it was too much dry airflow, another plant put in the same spot began to do the same thing until I added humidity. So that's good news, bad news is I don't have a cut of the one I am flowering and a couple weeks from harvest. Next time its gonna be clear and concise labels cause theres a lot of real similar looking plants in this NH NHcross batch.

I want to summarize the foliar experiment I was doing too. You may notice some spots in my pics, I believe those are damage from either the sulfate (copper or epsom) or chloride (manganese) mineral compounds. I also think 2.5 ml per 1/2 gal across the board was a little much particularly for the copper and manganese.

I stopped spraying 5/31 - could have gone a couple more applications but I went on vacation and plants were wilted when I got back and week 5 was starting for some. I don't think the minerals would hurt after that point but I didn't want to over do the Si, if I left it out I'd still have to pH up with a mix that has KSi.

The super k fulvate and wcap will remain part of the regimine, I will probably alternate those as the base starting in late veg then add the mineral mix with half the copper and manganese every 3-4 days.

No elk tag this year, that's 2 in a row now but I am trying to draw 1st season in some pretty prime areas. Better luck next year with 2 preference points tho I guess?
How many points do you need for a licence? I've mailed my state game and fish numerous times suggesting they implement a point system. I went 13 years not drawing an Antelope tag before I quit sending them money.

Didn't mean to hijack your journal, carry on!

No bother at all.
I could still go for over the counter license, but those are less desireable areas to hunt. There are population managment hunts and other opportunites as well, but again less appealing. Private land owners of more than 35 acres (plus several other condituons I'm sure) can apply for land owners permits.

As far as points - Colorado is divided into Game Managment Units. Each GMU gets a set numuber of tags for each season (bow/muzzel, 1.,2 ,3 4) of the draw. The more popular the area/season the more points you need. I have drawn with 0 points in the 4th season

I'm in the next state south. Only hunted elk once in CO, northeast of Gunnison. That was a tough week.

Does that one always throw those top leaves like that as she grows along? She looks alot to me like maybe she's getting too much N from those pics of her, or more than she's happy with anyways. I've had a few plants that looked just like that and it came out to be too hot of soil, mostly from N I determined, for them with how much they were drinking at that time.
Thirsty plants imho are prone to toxicity if they're light feeders, at least in my soil they are. lmfao.
Last summer everyone was drinking way too much due to the excessive heat I had going on, and all of them got some form of toxic issues of one form or another. Pretty sure you saw them and their uglieness. lol.
Once they stopped drinking so much, the issues started to resolve themselves, a bit late in the game, but it did happen. lol. I did a few flushes to try and help things along, may have helped some, but its hard to flush organics so I dunno for sure.
Anyways just thought I'd throw that out there while I was taking a break from work.

The NH are probably the lightest feeding / drinking plants I have ever grown. They drink 1/2 to 2/3 what other similar size plants do.

Its possible the soil is a little hot but based on the fade I am getting from TTLT I'd say its within range.

The single blades start about week 3 or 4 in flower on that one we are in week 8 or 9 now, expect 9 more.

Havent fed anything for a month or so and when I did it was a 0 N bloom booster. Otherwise it was a boosted worm extract bubbled overnight and plain water. Basically the boosted worm extract is the same as top dressing but a little nutes gets put in solution.

In week 10 for the Neville's Haze No.4

@JL2G If it works out you won't be able to see my hand in another 8 weeks lol. I shold probably put a stake in now.

NH2 will enter the harvest window in another week or two.

One neat thing about this strain is how different parts of the same plant mature at different rates. Like the 2 buds in that pic above - the more mature one is the apiacal point of a side branch the less mature one is on the main.
A tray of f2s and a tray of crosses -

F2s are distinctly lighter in color on average and in general pots have retained some moisture, the crosses are dry.
