Underground Chucker
After the snafu on the Neville's Haze project I was considering chopping the 4 f2s because they aren't impressing, not having anything to replace them with though, it doesn't make much sense....unless I do a batch ot 12/12 from seed. Hmmmmm... love it when I begin typing and new ideas pop into my head.
Nah 12/12 from seed can be a pita, I'll just have to resist the urge to pop more than 3 or 4 of each of the following -

Repeats from last run -
GG4S1 x Tomahawk - personal favorite
AK47 x Vanilla Gorilla - most potent and most fragrant
Twinkle Twinkle Little Tarts - most offensive nose
Graveyard Whistler x CnC - personal best chuckery

--looking for more of the same from those, perhaps do some chucking but mainly want to dig a little more.

New to me genetics-
Cider Kush
Dixon Cider (candyman x cider kush)
Candy Paint (brandywine x hot rod)
Honey Sundae x Neville's Haze (one flowering now)

I am hoping the HS x NH is good, I like what the NH did to the bud structure and want to try it on the AK x VG to loosen it up. If it has lost potency or has any other issues I'll probably pull them.
Nice lineup. Looking forward to the Dixon Cider and Candy Paint

Sifting through the Dixon Cider earlier this summer has shown me that the Cider Kush has dominance over the CandyMan cut I used. It was very hard for me to see any CandyMan as they went through vegetative growth. None of the finalists I selected were females so I didn't get to see what was what in flowering aromas and finished buds.

6 gal water
25ml Yucca extract NFTG
6g TM-7
1L Boosted worm poop (alfalfa, crab, kelp, bone, blood, axomite, rock phosphate, langbenite)

Bubbled that for 2hrs. then added -
3g Ferti-Nitro Plus
12g Super K Fulvate
New this time -
2Tbsp rock phosphate ground with mortise and pestle + 10Tbsp vinegar - let that sit overnight

Ended at 950ppm 6.0 pH - fed straight

Foliar feed day
20210901_071254.jpg
2.5 ml Yucca
2.5 ml Si
25 ml WCaP
1.25 ml each mineral
2 ml pH up
1/2 gal ro Water

510 ppm 6.3 pH

Given to outdoor, veg, early flower (TTLT and GW x CnC), misted NH seed moms and clones.

This rotation has been working well for me I think the Si and fulvic that is in it and the minerals is a force multiplier for my ipm. The feed spray gets less intense as flower goes on otherwise its full coverage. I have been stopping both feed and ipm at about 5 weeks except for NH and any other long ass cultivar. I think I will start doing a calculated last spray of dr. Bronner's week 5ish indoor and sometime near the end of September on the outdoor.

Today is also deep clean day and replace the active air oscillating wall mount fan that crapped out after 1.5 years. Didn't really see a better option and hoping the bracket is still the same.

IPM (foliar) day today. Man I did not want to back is sore fell back asleep after waking up...Sure as shit fell better now that it's done. Can't skimp on the ipm. Can't tell you how much better my garden had gotten since I started spraying my feet and washing my hands before going into the garden. Setting the routine so I am not going in midday to take care of something. I have adjusted my attitude too, no swearing in the garden especially, no calling my plants bi#@&÷!, just deep relaxing breaths.

36 hrs later far more of the cider kush cracked than I expected. @Buck5050

Did surgery on about half the twins.

The triplets were virtually impossible to save. Did intervention on half and letting half go naturally. Only a few didn't get planted, Thunderdome baby!

Wound up with about a flat.

The only other ones ready to plant were my Graveyard Whistler x CnC, a few of the TTLT are probably ready but will get those this evening.

About how many did you start with?
I didn't count it was 2 of the vials you sent. I filled 12 cells with 6 seeds for the ones I separated, 14 more cells were planted using 16ish seeds. I outright crushed one. Some are doubles because I was getting handsy with em and pulled a few right out of the husks. Call it 8 that went to compost and I come up with 30. Of the 8 that went to compost at least 4 were viable.

If I were careful could have end with 50 starts probably.

They are marketed for humans, I have never used them for that application. The company is zemvello used to be mineralife. Zemvelo Health Supplements | Liquid Dietary Supplements | Mineralife

I detail what each is on an earlier post the cookin dinner right now so gotta go but happy to discuss further.

This morning was Manganese Chloride (2.5ml), Yucca (2.5ml) and Silica (4ml) in 1/2 gal. Forgot to get pH and ppm.

A light frost. A lot of the tender vegitation that grew indoors has died back, whats left is pretty hardy. A total of 6 asparagus have made it.

Just found this morning some of the sulfur I tried to mix up had dried up. The flakes just pulverized and turned to dust when touched. Gonna try a few different things here, will post regardless of success or failure.

Todays canna garden foliar was the mineral mix 2.5ml Yucca, 4ml Si, 2.5ml Fe gluconate, Mn chloride, Cu sulfate and zinc lactate in 1/2 gal. I had to add 0.25ml pH up to land at 6.0, it was in the 4's.

Next foliar is ipm, then I will start spreading out the foliar feeds more until I stop in the next few weeks (a few weeks before harvest).

I may pull the other GW x CnC - I don't like the way it looks, haven't been able to identify any intersex parts but it just dosen't look right/happy. It gets a close inspection now that lights are on here after this.

I want to summarize the foliar experiment I was doing too. You may notice some spots in my pics, I believe those are damage from either the sulfate (copper or epsom) or chloride (manganese) mineral compounds. I also think 2.5 ml per 1/2 gal across the board was a little much particularly for the copper and manganese.

I stopped spraying 5/31 - could have gone a couple more applications but I went on vacation and plants were wilted when I got back and week 5 was starting for some. I don't think the minerals would hurt after that point but I didn't want to over do the Si, if I left it out I'd still have to pH up with a mix that has KSi.

The super k fulvate and wcap will remain part of the regimine, I will probably alternate those as the base starting in late veg then add the mineral mix with half the copper and manganese every 3-4 days.

I had seen the dry RAW brand but haven't seen liquid
Soilscape solutions has a pretty cool kit in the making intended for us smaller growers

Metalosate also has a line but the package size qnd cost were too much for me 1 gallon jugs I think was the smallest.
