No, its an accepted risk, I do what I can to mitigate. This year has been a mild fire season so far tho, the monsoon has been flowing.

Got the one transplanted.

The little ones seem to have recovered.

Also, just pulled the trigger on a 25 COB 3 driver build for the flower room @dstroy0 . Went with 20 x 3500K and 5 x 5000K cxb3590, 2x hlg-320 for the 3500K, 1x HLG-185 for the 5000K and 120mm pin fins. That should provide better coverage over the 3x3. I will get a 2x4 for the other light to go over, might have to reconfigure it a bit tho.

Sounds killer man! It’s gonna be awesome!

I'm rooting for that one in-between the rocks... Looking forward to watching her journey ?? Looks so fucking awesome!!?
It's probably the better spot, the other ones are a little close to a game trail.
love the nature pictures! So beautiful

Very nice spot you have mate. It would be quite relaxing I bet.
It's my happy place.

COBS and drivers arrived today, heatsinks should be here this week too.

The clouds brought some rain with them, plants were just beginning to dry out from a rain the day the big one was planted. I hauled saturated soil up there, then it rained over an inch, lol. Raining again tonight and looks like this cool wet pattern is gonna continue.

Got Twinklehawk chopped yesterday, TTLT x 7 Hills is about ready to be bagged. It has had over 14 days drying but maybe a couple more before they can be sealed. Some of the early trim is kinda curing but since I cut it so close on the stash reserve and don't want to mess with seeded bud I'm breaking into it daily. I think Twinklehawk is the winner this round but will reserve final decision until they are both cured.

Hauled some water (1 gal plain, 1 gal epsom @1T) up to the gorilla patch, and watered the cold frame. Gonna be warmer and drier looking at the 15 day, should be good for budset as not only do I feel way behind everyone else, first frost is looming and the aspen are fading.

I see a heater in your future lol.

Next couple weeks we'll have to start thing about putting the panels back on and covering at night, but for now and for as long as possible I want to let these go with nature. Seems odd the in ground plants flashed purple (except
Twinklehawk) and the potted ones didn't.

Found a couple more trespassers.

Today is actually day 14 drying not sure how I added a week in but chop day was the 18th. Been using a 5 gal wicket bag the last couple days, so close to done.

Twinklehawk has another 10 days or so of drying.

We got 0.2" rain yesterday afternoon, so the hill shouldn't need watered but I will haul some up anyway. Thinking about staking the bigger plant. I did some pruning yesterday too.

Coldframe and dog run are just a blast to watch right now, except as I type this I realize I want to do a foliar this morning so, gotta go.

The foliar earlier this week was xtreme gardens cal carb.

IPM today Thermx70, Regalia, vinerate. Missed indoor but I have to get the hill too. It will be a couple days cause ya see, um...wife doesn't know about the plants up the hill. This long hot holiday weekend is gonna be kinda tough on them, luckily I was able to get a splash of water on them yesterday.

Top dress for the too, made a 3:1 mix of Dr. Earth Bloom to 4-4-4 because some of the plants are showing the lack of top dress during veg. This might be their last food, ?.

Need to stake down hashpile #3 some more it's going strong, getting a little too tall. Decided I won't stake hashpile #4 (up the hill).

I have only watered to keep the tops from drying out too much but still have some fungus gnats so gave them a shot of Bti today too. Hit 85F and lows are staying just above 50 for now.

Looking at the stash and what's going OD I don't need to start anything for a bit and may not even do a fall/winter indoor this year, even so I am working on a pop list grow plan lol.

Twinklehawk
(Honey Sundae x Neville's Haze) x 7 Hills
(GG4s1 x Tomahawak) x 7 Hills
Primal Candy #4 x Honey Sundae

12/12 from seed if I end up doing a fall run or need a quick turn on the winter/spring run. Looking for a male again but will most likely be a sensi run. The 25 cob rig will be over the 3 x 3 and I will add a 2 x 4 to hang the 15 cob rig over. Decided to remote mount drivers for the new 25 cob rig too, thinking I will just build a separate frame for them and hang them in front of the wall fan.

I feel like I am looking at a Neville's Haze variant, but it might just be the stress of transplant, the heat and the height @Dino Party lol, it is about 300 ft elevation gain so hauling water is a workout. It will need daily watering the next few days at least too, skipping yesterday took a toll.

The extras fared better but were still thirsty.

Hahaha I love that it's growing there. Does it get full sun all day long?
It gets about 9 or 10 of full sun right now I would guess, starting at about 8:30 till just before sunset.

If it was me i make a topsoil/leaf top dress so u get as much retain and also add some retaining organic material under that like worm poop. Those things if not made my watering times 2x+ needed
20220830_080135.jpg
I'm down with the clippings, check lower left corner of pic. so far as worm poop, I'll take 50lbs. of your finest black gold, I think you get two checked bags on United....I'll even let you carry the 5lbs we need for mulch up after we get you acclimated to the altitude. Got a spare room and an air mattress.

Thinking of what I have available, on site, that wouldn't present excessive pest pressure, I might collect some mushrooms and dry deadwood? Could probably grab some rice hulls for a lightweight option too.
