@Buck5050 GG4s1 x Tomahawk @77 days the harvest window opened up about 5 days ago. There is still a few clear but chop will be tomorrow or the next day.

AK47 x Vanilla Gorilla will go to 12 weeks, it could have used more veg. The Neville's Haze will be 13 weeks tomorrow 2,6 and 8 are getting close no. 2 is down to weekly waterings almost. This bring me to a few observations on the shelf of haze - aka the F2s and crosses

The NH has a slow to develop root system and seems to have passed this trait in part to the crosses. The 5 smaller pots in front are all NH f2s that are yet to sex, they can still go up to 3 days between waterings. These are in week 3 and the crosses appear to be developing at the same rate as normal above ground but with longer node spacing. Below ground it seems the NH passed on its rather meager root development.

The NH f2s are very uniform and will be hit with the no. 3 f1 male which has been sitting in veg for 6 months.
20210724_094334.jpg 20210724_094323.jpg
I will probably keep the 2 f1 males around for a bit as I am encouraged by what it passed on to the crosses, time will tell in the finshed product though. The 2 females that remain will likely be put into flower at the end of august. I am not expecting to be blown away by the NH smoke, maybe I'm wrong. The flowers are looking good, but lacking something phenomenal or groundbreaking the time in flower and difficulty to grow makes it one I will be glad to have said I have grown and proud that I have preserved for the community. I have yet to smoke a bowl 8 months from cracking the first beans.

GG4s1 x Tomahawk after 81 darks.
20210728_114624.jpg 20210728_114614.jpg
AK47 x Vanilla Gorilla is the purple one in the background.

Neville's haze are at 95 days No. 4 will go several more weeks yet, the others are much closer. The inline crosses have all sexed after 3.5 weeks, the outcrosses are a third of the way done and generating puffballs. The cut of No.3 male looks like it has rooted, a couple more weeks and it will go into flower.

Weekly foliar feed day, 1 gallon used.
Per 1/2 gal - 2.5ml each - Yucca, Si, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu. The Si and minerals are formulated with fulvic.
I hit the veg tent, NH inline f2s and crosses and outdoor plus berries and veggies.
Pest pressure increasing as the natural landscape begins to dry out, hit 2 patches of pm in the yard with regalia last week, looks to be knocked back. 2 spots that will be annual issues, one is adjacent to my indoor air intake.

SKVA was getting too big for its pot in veg and since it's clone is rooted I decided to transplant and move it outside. Should drop into flower pretty quick, the trespasser crew is beginning to flower.

SKVA back right.

Messing around with a male cannabis plant companion planting with strawberries.

It's both a trellis and provides shade, dosen't seemnto do anything for chipmumks though.

Home garden got a little dry while I was gone, it was hot and wife needs calibrated. So happy she tries but she got a black thumb.

One of the f2's photo bombing. The leaves are just falling off but only the ones it is done with. Still a few more weeks.
NH3 male is getting ready to drop the incross/backcross.

Though it has been fun to grow and has some interisting and deaireable traits the potency just isn't there. I wonder if this is more why its crosses are perhaps becoming more legendary that it. I am curious to find out, so far nothing bad to report on the hybrids. All are taller than their moms and at 7 weeks seem to have longer flower times.

Time for a clean out on HoneySundae reveg. 20210819_102931.jpg
20210819_104308.jpg
Did some clean up in veg too, hacked back the Neville's Haze cuts as I won't be flowering them any time soon, need to make plans to collect pollen, I may just let the girls expire.

After the snafu on the Neville's Haze project I was considering chopping the 4 f2s because they aren't impressing, not having anything to replace them with though, it doesn't make much sense....unless I do a batch ot 12/12 from seed. Hmmmmm... love it when I begin typing and new ideas pop into my head.
Nah 12/12 from seed can be a pita, I'll just have to resist the urge to pop more than 3 or 4 of each of the following -

Repeats from last run -
GG4S1 x Tomahawk - personal favorite
AK47 x Vanilla Gorilla - most potent and most fragrant
Twinkle Twinkle Little Tarts - most offensive nose
Graveyard Whistler x CnC - personal best chuckery

--looking for more of the same from those, perhaps do some chucking but mainly want to dig a little more.

New to me genetics-
Cider Kush
Dixon Cider (candyman x cider kush)
Candy Paint (brandywine x hot rod)
Honey Sundae x Neville's Haze (one flowering now)

I am hoping the HS x NH is good, I like what the NH did to the bud structure and want to try it on the AK x VG to loosen it up. If it has lost potency or has any other issues I'll probably pull them.
