So many updates overdue, which I will hopefully get to this weekend...

Colombian Blacks and Afghan crosses are all doing well. Only lost 1 CB, and the rest will all be ready to bloom soon.

Also started a bunch of stuff from Freak, First 48, 3Thirteen, Bad Dawg, and some personal chucks, as seen below.

Here's an update on the November 1 sprouts, whose packs were pictured above...

I'd been wanting to get to these for weeks, and here we are a couple weeks since soaking already- How time flies!
In case the packages aren't clear enough, the genetics are as follows: (As I remember)

First 48 Genetics- Dawn of the Dead (Sunshine OG x Zombified) abbv: DoD
3Thirteen Genetics- Greases Pieces (GG4 x Peanut Butter Breath reversed) Fem Testers and S1 Testers- I'll have to get back to the slight differences between the 2 pkgs abbv: GP / GPS1
Freak Genetics- (Grape Marmalade x Garlic Breath) testers abbv: GMB
Freak Genetics- (Sour Banana x Garlic Breath) testers abbv: SBGB
Bad Dawg Genetics- SFV OG x Long Bottom Fighter abbv: SFF
Bad Dawg Genetics- Chem D x Apollo(#?) abbv: CDA
Personal Chucks- Wedding Cake (Or Gary Payton) x Orange Julius
Personal Chucks- Pillow Book x Spring Training

They were soaked around October 28th, I believe, and got their first baby pics November 1.

I've started this round of sprouts with earlier feedings, and slightly stronger doses than they have normally gotten in the past. I'm hoping this gives them the early growth spurts I've been waiting for.

Here's a pic from Nov 11th and 12th, or just more than 2 weeks from soak. Their pots are 9oz solos.

The Colombian Black Preservation Thread has been started, but I'll also update here, soon, along with their sprout mates, the Afghaan 90 x Black Afghans, and Gwinevers (Blueberry x Tashkurgan). They should all be flipped in the next few days.

Sonnuva!!......I just realized I mislabeled the second pic in the post above...

It's not Grape Marmalade x Garlic Breath testers in that group. The Sour Banana x Garlic Breath are in that second group pic somewhere.
The GM x GB are in the group in the first pic.

And I never gave you a proper report from the Pigs testers either. For what it's worth, I don't think they hermed at all, even with all the stress they got.
They also smelled, looked, and tasted really nice for what they went through.
Solid job, I'd say, so thanks for the opportunity!
These GB testers and the rest of the Freak stuff I have will get better runs the next time. I was tempted to put some more in with this round, but I've probably already got my hands full anyway lol

Oh, I don't doubt they will! They're really intriguing to me, for sure. I actually had them a while ago, didn't get any keepers through the cycle. I think I was having germination issues at the time. Now I'm pumped to revisit them, and hope to do better by them. They're doing great so far!
CDA #4 is the smallest of the whole group because it took a few days extra to pop, but I'd imagine it'll catch up eventually.

Update for the Colombian Blacks, Afghaan 90 x Black Afghan, and Gwniver (Blueberry F5 x Tashkurgan) -

This round was soaked starting Sep 17th, with 5 of the Colombian Blacks aka Llanera, and 4 each of the Afghan crosses.
Everything sprouted well, and I only ended up losing 1 CB (#5) due to it getting a little tall and top heavy, and falling over, crimping it's main stem.
It tried to survive for a couple weeks, but ultimately succumbed to it's injuries.
So, 9 for 10 on the CBs, and 100% on the others.

After a couple weeks from soak, I noticed the little ones were yellowing a bit. (Around the time of the first pics below) I gave them 2g/gal Megacrop v3 1 part, so I didn't over feed the CBs too early. Well, a week or so later, and I'm noticing some yellow/funky growth, not sure whether I've given them too much. I gamble, and figure I'm probably not giving them enough, so I boost the dose to 4 g/gal. They green back up, and all respond well with more food, for the most part...
Then there's Gwniver...She's really been a Princess since the beginning, and still isn't happy yet. She's not getting any special treatment though, so hopefully she decides to get with the program and get pretty for the flower pageant coming sooner than later!

Here are the girls on Oct 2, about 2 weeks from soak.

This is Oct 26, about 5 1/2 wks from soak, and just before they were spread out a bit, to stretch a little before bloom.

Below is the pic from the 12th again, but this time with appropriately labeled seedlings.
Abbreviations again are:
GP - 3Thirteen Greases Pieces fems
GPS1 - 3Thirteen Greases Pieces S1s
**Quoted from Red, answering my question in his Whorehouse thread, for clarification**
"I re-made fems of the GP's from 2 different phenos (one heavy PBB and the other a heavy Glue pheno -which was the reversal candidate). Those are the "new" GP fems I mention. The S1's are of Greases Pieces made from the GG4 leaner used in the new GP's and was reversed and selfed. I anticipate the S1's should be heavy GG4 with an overload of chocolate gassy terps and a heavy blanket of frost just like the cut that was selfed. Should be a good one for the extraction artists.
I am making S1's of the PBB right now though, and if all goes well should be available for testing in the coming months."
**
SBGB - Freak Genetics (Sour Banana x Garlic Breath)
SFF - Bad Dawg Genetics (SFV OG x Long Bottom Fighter)
PBST - Personal Chuck (Pillow Book x Spring Training)
WCOJ - Personal Chuck (Wedding Cake x Orange Julius)

Added a few to flower tonight to keep on schedule, but they still need transplanted and cloned for backups.

3- Pillow Book x Spring Training (personal chuck) ((Master Kush x (Chem D x Blackberry Widow)) x (( Florida OG x Golden Tiger))
4- Chem D x Apollo by Bad Dawg
4- Dawn of the Dead by M48

Giving the rest of veg a bit more time to branch out. They've been too crowded for too long.
I've got a bunch lined up, so I'm not sure if I'll wait another few weeks to add the next round to flower, or if I'll just add a few at a time every week or so yet.

Still vegging:
Greases Pieces by 3Thirteen Genetics
Greases Pieces S1s by 3Thirteen Genetics
Sour Banana x Garlic Breath by Freak Genetics
Grape Marmalade x Garlic Breath by Freak Genetics
SFV OG x Long Bottom Fighter by Bad Dawg Genetics
Wedding Cake x Orange Julius (personal chuck)

Transplanted Monday night's new flower round from 9oz solo starter cups to quart sized square finishing pots, and pollinated 1 branch of each Colombian Black with Afghaan 90 x Black Afghan dust.
Speaking of the Afghan crosses, of the 3 females I have in flower, 1 is showing "black" here at about 5.5wks. The buds themselves are green, but the leaves are purpling out, despite the same feed and treatment as everything else.
Neither of the 2 Colombian Blacks are showing any "black" tendencies yet.

Alrighty....I think pollination is done for this round.
I hit the Afghan crosses and Gwnivers with Af3 pollen.
Hopefully there will be a bunch of new Colombian Black beans, and a few CB x Afghan, Afghan x CB, Gwniver x CB, and Gwniver x Afghan beans baking the next few weeks.
I can see the first round of pollination (x CB) swelling calyxes already.

I also (unintentionally) decided to try a new experiment...
Took some clones of the Colombian Blacks, Afghan crosses, and Gwnivers, at about 7, and 5.5 weeks flower, respectively, and promptly pollinated 1 of each with CB and Af3 pollen.
Let's see if they'll root, reveg, and produce seed at the same time ?

Been watching the new flower batch all week, and caught the first male last night. Gotta get em outta there as they show, so as not to potentially pollute the Colombian project.
The male was a Chem D x Apollo, and he's now separated by a couple of floors, and HVAC systems. I'll give him a day or two until I decide If I want to collect pollen. (I have a hard time trashing any plant though, so I may collect pollen for an F2 at least)
The Chem D x Apollo and my Pillow Book x Spring Training cross are the earliest to show sex in this round. It looks like 2 or 3 of the Chem D crosses are female, and I think I saw pistils on 2 of 3 of the PB x ST crosses. We'll find out for sure within the next couple weeks.
The Dawn of the Dead are robust, and giving off a funk, in general. Not sure what sex they are yet though.

The Colombians, Afghans, and Blueberry / Afghans are all doing well, and should be baking beans for the next few weeks.
They've definitely shown swelling in the couple weeks since they were dusted. (y)

I removed the Gwnivers (Blueberry x Tashkurgan) tonight (6.5wks) due to a few horns starting to poke out on each gal.
I haven't caught anything suspicious on the Afghans or Colombians yet, but it looks like seeds are cooking in everything hit with the CB and Af pollen.
Still checking daily to catch any early male flowers from any plants, to keep the CB preservation pure. They're at about 7 weeks now, so they've still got 5-11wks to go to fully ripened buds, and at least 3 or so for ripe beans.

The veg plants aren't dead after their heavy oil dip, but they suuure are pissed! 2 steps forward, 1 step back....
Recommended dosage of this JMS Stylet Oil is a Tablespoon / gallon....No, 2T/Gal if I remember correctly.
Well, I learned long ago, that'll choke em out quick. I've used it at 2 tsp/gal without killing anything, but this last dose was 1.5 tsp/gal, and still pissed em off proper. Next time, it'll probably be like 1/2 tsp/gal.
I mean, sure, it'll kill mildew and mites, but I'd like to keep the plant alive, thanks...
I guess, on the bright side, the oil will last even longer than I thought!
