One my old boss used to say.....Like trying to loosen a bolt working on something....God damn that's tighter than dicks hatband....never understood.......

"tight as a bullfrogs ass" always a favorite

Lol. I use, "tighter than Dick's hatband," regularly. Got it from a boss as well. This is what I always pictured:

Another favorite from the same guy was,
"harder than a wedding dick."

About 12 years ago we picked up this excellent pair of SP3500's Sansui's 4 way 6 speaker system. Every driver works perfect, crossovers funtion as new.
Fills the house with sound @ 100 watts per channel from our Sony av unit.
They're '71 models.

So speaking of finding Sansui's...
Don't have a pic on the phone rn, new old phone, and currently on the way to the wolf dog sanctuary to go hang out with them.
These things are the best headphones I have ever and likely will ever own. Best 30 bucks I ever spent.

LOVE that movie!!

Do you get to pet them ?!?!?!
We do the interactive tour, so they let us give them treats and stuff if they want to come near us though petting is not advised as they're still more skittish than affectionate. They were anything from mid/low mix to high mix phenotypes (I giggled everytime the lady said that) and the ones that were more wolf were very standoff ish and only wanted treats thrown to them but the more dog ones actually came up and one kept bugging my wife because we had been there before a few times and they recognized her and knew she would have treats. They're more active after a snow storm so we took advantage of today and got some nice pics and a good long video of them being dorks howling at a coyote.

There is one that is more dog than wolf, and he will basically keep coming as long as you have treats. This is where most of the wolf dogs in North America end up and I do think they have a rescue/adoption program however I think it's more of a sponsored visitation with them at the habitat. It's quite fun and to see the way they are up close is always amazing. Plus they're total hams when they know it's time for a show and treats so sometimes you get to see some really adorable interactions you wouldn't expect to see from these animals.
