Thats a great pan man, one thats on my wishlist too. Looks in decent shape. Do you know the maker out of curiousity?

It still blows my mind what you guys can find in other parts of the country. Here I wouldnt see that pan except maybe at a flea market and the seller would want $45.

I’m not sure of the manufacturer of it. Seems to be an “ unmarked” 8 with a B on the bottom of the handle. I’m not an expert on these things yet

Man I do feel blessed that the thrift close to my house is such a gem. Idk why, but it provides. Today was my first time in since making this thread. I said, let’s see if I’m taking shit or not… sure enough there was the deep one I’ve been wanting.

In your pic #1 looks like a newer Lodge pan. Not worth too much $$ but you could use it for the next 100 years

#2...........looks like a revereware frying pan. If the bottom is flat it has value
#3.......... That's half a double boiler by revereware. This has value even being just half the product.
#4.......that is some type of chicken fryer and well worth looking at.

edit....that #3 might also be the bottom for the reverware egg poacher

#1 was a ozark trail, but a size that I already have a few of. Def a newer one like you called it.

#4 is the one that I got. You called it a chicken fryer, heck yeah. It seems to only have the 8 and B marking on the handle, but I’ll be able to tell once I clean it .

I wish my local shop looked like that! you'd never see a piece of cast iron here. Estate/tag sales are where it's at. You can get stuff at auction but much higher.

There is one that is more dog than wolf, and he will basically keep coming as long as you have treats. This is where most of the wolf dogs in North America end up and I do think they have a rescue/adoption program however I think it's more of a sponsored visitation with them at the habitat. It's quite fun and to see the way they are up close is always amazing. Plus they're total hams when they know it's time for a show and treats so sometimes you get to see some really adorable interactions you wouldn't expect to see from these animals.

Super cool man. Where is this place at? My wife would absolutely love it

I'd love to have an animal rescue! I would specialize in Big Cats, Catfish, and Wolves Ohio Fish Rescue is a nice one that has a lot of different species, but I'd want Jaguars and Leopards and Wolves too haha.

I just hope there’s a camera around when all your dreams come true!
Sadly, I have a feeling someone will have a mess to clean up!

So you guys are finding heavy hitters at the thrift store.
I love to find things like....Rolling Trays. I think normies call them tv trays.. Get a big one for about 2 bucks and you can set up your rolling stations just right.
Like one of those teppanyaki bars.

I thought I was the only one who enjoyed scouring the thrift stores. Wow! I’m in awe, up until about 10 years ago (here in Ontario) people had no clue and OH the gems you could find, something happened in the last ten years and everyone thinks they are on the antiques roadshow and trying to charge hundreds for useless items. However the ONE avenue I’ve never explored much is pots and pans …. You may have just created a monster! Guess who’s doing the rounds later today haha
